I took the act twice and only studied one week for it lol. My scores weren't bad but nothing mind blowing. I still got over 3k in outside scholarships (didn't qualify for any need-based and UC's don't easily give out merit based money to out-of-state students) and got merit scholarships from many of the colleges I applied to!
