- How to get correct Exposure in Malibu Creek - (Part 2 of 2) I spend the day shooting with UA-camr + Photographer Carlos. He recently entered the Fujifilm system, so we spent the day shooting and getting used to the Fujifilm GFX and Sekonic 758 light meter for the first time.

Good stuff and very interesting. Never used a light meter and maybe something I will look in to trying. Seems to be a good camera the XT2 and see lots of rave reviews. However got my Sony A7 mk2 for a bargain and just paired it with the new Tokina Firin 20mm f2.0 lens and it is amazing. Going to actually start using some second hand Canon glass on it as well as it is way more affordable than the G-Master stuff. Switching to the Fuji would actually cost me a lot of money so will get a few more years photography practice under my belt and see what's out and about then. Atb
Crop sensors are entry level users ....... Full frame is the PRO's Sweet spot and always will be....... If the GFX had native F1.4 lens to choose from I might would consider ....... but the size of a MF f1.4 lens would be huge and very very very expensive!
Guys, you must understand 1 very important thing unless you are going to print a 40x60 or larger the Sony A7RII comes close to the GFX! I took the same shots with GFX & Sony A7RII and for prints from 8x10 to 20x30 and standing 5-6 feet away you will not notice which is which and for half the cost for the Sony A7RII over the GFX!
Another point to mention is for low light and fast shutter speed a Full Frame sensor w/f1.4 lens will stomp a mud hole in a GFX
You can get same image quality or better with a much cheaper Sony A7r Mk II
Richard, Lewis had the A7r2. Why dont you ask him why he ditched his sony over the medium format?
Payed to dump it....
i bought my GFX, moved away from 2 Canon's 5dm3 to a Fuji XT2 and a GFX. Trust me, if Fuji was paying people to switch, i would know. I didnt wanted to pay 10k for my GFX. I would have done anything the company asked me to in order for me to get a free GFX with all the free lenses. Now, if you have your doubts, you should also doubt Jason Lanier who is a Sony Artisan and made the switch so Sony too. Maybe the Sony is enough for you, but some people just need a little more than just a Sony.
Lewis has got the A7rii in his bag...
