I love the crushed velvet . I have some similar but they are just river island ones and I’ve never worn them yet ! I need to try . Far too many shoes 😏. I’m so tempted to get the metallic Chelsea platforms but I’ve spent so much money on docs in the sale already 😂

I have the 1B60 Max Hardware boots too but walking in them for 4 miles is really painful for me :( I do love them and they help take the goth style to the next level like my thigh high ones!

i also died inside seeing that the crushed velvet was on sale 😭😭. i agree with all your points on it!! i recently got the jadon max and after getting them, i found out about the crushed velvet 😭

I just did a big mistake with the first boot.... I bought vegan instead of leather smh 😭 I hope they last long.
Just take care of the leather as best you can the vegan leather can tend to wear a bit quicker
hii! I have seen a couple of your videos now and since your a doc marten expert, I was wondering if you had any advice on how to break them in? I got quad 1461 platforms yesterday and I had to wear them today, needless to say it did not end well... I even put 2 pairs of socks and it still did not help... got huge bleeding blisters and I probably won`t be able to wear them for quite some time now. I have the steel toe 1460 and they never hurt as bad as 1461s... so any tips??
I am so sorry I have experienced this pain with my Jadon’s if you can get a pedicure it will help A LOT!!!
The tip I felt worked the most when I was at journeys was to stick a water bottle in the freezer let it freeze and then stick it in the shoe to expand it so kind of stretching out the leather a bit
Dr marten crew socks the classics are also super cushiony and may help
But mostly I say just break those babies in it will take some time and all feet are different so don’t be discouraged! Once they are broken in they get super comfy because they are formed specifically to your foot!

How often do you condition them ?
I want to do a video on this but basically whenever they start to look dull (just because I have so many in rotation) but I would say at least once a week if you’re wearing the same pairs regularly
if I order them online how many days before receiving them

Dr martens, for me, a consistent 2-3 days (could also be my location but I get them very fast!)
