They've had them since before combat evolved came out, It's a Cutlass/Dagger, Not an energy sword. Hell even the brutes use "Energy" blades since halo wars 2
They use them in the novels, but not in game play. The games drop a lot of concepts for balance purposes. For example, the DMR has a larger magazine capacity and a full auto mode, as seen in the series. But the game uses a bizarre 15-round magazine because of game balance.
2 24 I'm sure that is gonna be a meme any day now. And another thing on the list of things people hate this show But I find it accurate and interesting how Arbiter placed sword in his other hand when MC took that blade. He was getting ready for bladelock and parrying

it wasn't supercombine, if it was it would be a big explosion that left nothing .
A marine got supercombined in the first season, turned him into pink mist. This is just what a single needle does to an unatmored human.
@@Nugnugnug I do feel though that a spartan 2 should survive, but this was right next to his heart. This is sad.
1:23 that back to back was very cool
When the time comes The 1v1 between chief and arbiter better be epic and mind blowing I swear
Alright, DCS and WT Sim players. Show of hands... How many of you felt the same way the Arbitor here did after you reeled in that kill for the last several minutes.... Only for someone else to yoink it from you?
Halsey crying at reach burning is like the most unhalsey thing halsey would ever do lmao.
This is all Akerman's fault. A fine mess he got everybody into
They making Ackerman target #1. Audience hating him more than the covenant rn. Covenant just going by their religion. Ackerman intentionally fucked his own team over.
not to mention Kai.. I'm pretty sure there will be a Kai vs Chief fight in this season
Yes! This is what we meant by live action Halo back in 2001.
0:57 - 1:25
Ngl actually one of the best episodes of the series
Gotta say, not a huge fan of the way Vannak died.
He should’ve been the one to save Chief instead of Makee, since her stepping in makes it feel like his death was pointless and purely for shock value.
Honestly yeah, vannak dying from the elite was so quick and out of place. It would’ve been much better if vannak died saving chief instead.
@@withwillin Well there was no guarantee that the elite wouldn't kill the rest of them
Not gonna lie, I'm a little pissed they killed Vannak. I feel like we barely got to see him in action, let alone with his armor, and I liked the personality they had going for him now that he had taken this pellet out
this was a good episode goddamn
Master chief decide to cosplay as doomguy from doom 2 in this episode since he has no armour
Halo : 80% action 20% drama
Superman & Louise: 3 % action 97% "televisa presenta"
Wow, this show took a serious turn for the better!
Man when chief gets his armor back bro
Can't wait!!! He's about to fuck some shit up lol
Is it just me or does anyone else get the feeling that kai betrayed them and took off with ackerson and their armor?
The arbiter was like bitch he’s mine. But his going to regret not killing master chief and it shows everybody that chief is not get a man with a suit of armor he’s a warrior without it
If the show maintains this quality, even though it deviates heavily from the games, I would still be happy with it.
bro, do you record it? Because it is obvious that it is not possible in Paramount, I ask you since I do edits and all that.
okay dont do piracy or anything please BUT turn hardware acceleration off on your web browsers (on pc) and you should be able to record
Vannak is Death i think they will replace him with Soren. Now i understand why they give his helmet in Halo Infinite.
Gave who Helmet in infinite?
@@iVenture01Vannak's helmet is available in Infinite.
Next time they give away another helmet i think because that character will die.
Kids crying all about the armor in 3…2…1… 🙄🥱
The episode was so goood!! I really like this actor who plays master Chief. I looked him up because he has the longest arms and he towers over everyone. He is 6’5.
Even without their armor the Spartans kick some serious ass when John picked up that energy sword I'm like you're fucked now then damn he got blown back sliced of his head like bitch he was mine how dare you interfere
Vannak knows what its like to lose, now.
Since when did jackles use energy swords?
In the books jackals have energy cutlass swords
They've had them since before combat evolved came out, It's a Cutlass/Dagger, Not an energy sword. Hell even the brutes use "Energy" blades since halo wars 2
No son espadas son dagas
son dagas, y en halo reach los asesinatos se pueden apreciar dagas (cuando eres elite)
And another thing on the list of things people hate this show
But I find it accurate and interesting how Arbiter placed sword in his other hand when MC took that blade. He was getting ready for bladelock and parrying
Vannak...that scream from the chief...😢💔
3 Elites wouldn't be a bother for 4 spartans. I mean, maybe, I guess, without their freakin armor. Whoever thought that was a good idea is insane. We could have finally seen what they can truly do in those suits.
John Halo could've done this in his birthday suit
The song tho. I need the song. Tho.
I am not very familar with the halo (silver) universe, but stupid question: wasnt the fall of reach, the stage for the noble team?
The Original novel released before Halo Combat evolved.
The game of reach was inspired by the book The Fall of Reach, so noble team was just one of many operatives during that event.
This show isn't following how Reach fell AT ALL. None of this makes any sense.
@@Wisdomisgood448 Silver timeline, again, from start it wont be the 1 to 1. At least it isnt like the game that messed up the timeline set up by the book in mainline quite a bit.
canonically both blue and noble team were on reach when it's fall..
Season 2 is far and away better than season 1. I am really enjoying this and I theorized that he would lose all of Silver team to set him up with Blue team at the end of the season.
We can been tht Ackermann character for taking their armour. I hope Kai didnt play a part in it
is no one gonna mention how the plasma pistol glows blue instead of green
As someone who never watched the halo series season 1 and 2 but played all the games and read the comics , if u showed me this and told me it was a bunch of marines, odsts or spartans 3 without gear trying to survive a covenant invasion i would fuck with it but u would lose me the second they called this guy chief or when a human woman is commanding the covys
One of the many reasons why this isn't really Halo is that you see Spartans die.
As you know, Spartans are never KIA.
They're missing in action.
Good scenes but they skipped the big picture of the invasion. We didn’t see a lot. No space battles nor massive ground battles… 😢
Finally apart from the final episode of season 1 this is what the halo series needed more fight scenes less talking.
This scene alone already shows how awesome this show was. Wish braindead people didn't get it canceled..
this surely is not "The Arbiter" right...i mean he would not kill his own subordinates...they are not savages..they have a code. i think its still "an arbiter"
They interfered in single combat, thats why.
his name is var'gatanai. That means he's an arbiter, most likely the one before thel vadam. Some arbiters are more aggressive and are more likely to go out of their way and kill their own men, and considering how sangheilis love honor and glory and all that, it is somewhat in character for them to behead their men for ruining the glorious battle that he was offered
@@commandergoji886 i hope they do not show us the "Ship master" this season...i dont want them to ruin him
"these are my elites" .
@@ParagonGoetia i really wanted to hear the fall of reach music from the reach game trailer..during this episode ..i hope someone on this vast internet edits it in
@@anxarts7424 Next week episode will continue the fall so maybe then.
who coriographed this fight? was it turn based. like wtf are they.....oh god.
I knew Spartans were gonna die, but why couldn’t it have been Riz or Kai. Vannak was the only one to act like a Spartan since the beginning of
Since kai most likely fucked off with akerson I'd have expected riz for sure
I'm only here because of the Marines, weird but yup. I respect them.
