Vword you are not only in beautiful mind but beautiful heart too ,generous to share your trip with many especially those who do not have the opportunity to be there even it is a little matter but a great gift to them . Thank you .
love the atmosphere, very green and relax. I didn't realize Penang is so green, at least around the residential area. You can see the trees are old and mature, good to see that the local council is putting an effort to maintain them
When I taught photography at the University, some Years ago, I underlined many times, during my classes, the importance of defining a subject, as well as the need to opt for the right tools to treat them. Here, watching your video, I asked myself this : Can I find in it the most significant parts of Pulau Penang, what defines the island, its people, its way of life, its architecture, its development ? May be I could find something of that kind during the first 6 minutes and half of it. However, beyond that, I found myself confronted with this sad reality : everywhere, suburbs and residential areas look always the same, like suburban areas always do. May be, indeed, you should better define the path that you will follow according to no other matters than the subject, whenever you decide to drive and film ? My opinion is that it is much better to stick to what are the most significant places of the Island. And to Drive whenever it gives better results than Walking, to Film with drones when bird views show better the subject, or to walk whenever you want to translate the climate of a site. Thank you for sharing. Best Regards From France. P.S. : The time you filmed looked perfect. Few cars, it seems that you could drive fluidly inside Georgetown. Lucky you were, knowing that most of the times traffic jams all circulation. But instead of taking advantage of that, you followed an other itinerary, as if going home might have been more urgent and important than filming.
Very valid points, but looking at the timeline of this video, I think it was because of the very awkward situation (Covid-19) we are still plagued by it. Otherwise the streets could not have been somewhat deserted. But I am sure we can all learn from your comments. Stay safe, wherever we are.
