- Reviewing the Maclan RS ESC and Maclan 6600KV 4 Pole motor. Showing how to set up the Maclan ESC and how I initially started my programming and using the GNSS and Maclan data logging to tune it.
What works for me, may not work for yours. Im new to the rc drag racing and NPRC world, so constructive criticism is always welcomed.

On the top left corner of the programming tab, you should see a button labeled "Save". As soon as you hit that, the ESC while have the tune saved to it. If you like the tune up you have, click "Export" and save it to whatever device you use to tune the car. Good luck!

Is it normal for you to have to hold full brake on the transmitter in order to keep it sitting still? DRK 160 rs with a castle 5700kv 4 pole is the setup I am running
No, that's not normal. Mine did that a couple times and I completely reset my remote, checked all my sensors wires and esc wire were in the right spot and connected well, then recalibrate the esc to the remote. It all worked fine. Idk which fixed it.

I can definitely show what my settings are. It took a lot of chassis work to get there. But I started off in blinky mode at 20%-80% throttle and doubled the "shift" times and worked it up to 100% at 7th stage. Then started lowering the shift times. Then went to unlimited mode and started doing the same thing with the timing and boost.
what gear are you using
With this combo I'd start around a 3.0 final drive ratio. I believe I'm running 26/75 right now.
