List
- 1 banana
- Some honey
- Lemon
- Coconut oil
- And a bowl
Tell me why I needed this video so bad! Lol legit I was thinking today I need a hair mask to get rid of my dandruff or a scalp cleanser. Thank you!
I have shoulder length hair, it’s fine but there is a LOT of it. I always get dandruff when the weather is changing. I read the comments about it taking forever to get this stuff out. I took a fine tooth comb in the shower with me and worked tip to root and got all the banana out in about 15 minutes. I also used a previously frozen banana that I froze when it got overripe to make banana bread, they tend to be very slimy when they thaw out, maybe that helped it come out easier? Not seeing any dandruff right now!
i would recommend to blend the banana in a blender because it can be really hard to get it out of the hair
Would not recomend for people who have long hair because it took me about 2-3 hours to take the banana chunks out and my hair is falling out as-well and I still have some dandruff left but IT HELPED MY SPLIT ENDS
Same
Omg I was just thinking... my hair is so long... ahhhhh
Blend it before apply...it will be smooth and can be removed easily
blend the ingredients and strain it ....it will be easier
Thank you I will definitely use this
I really appreciate how honestly you showed the dandruff! I have it pretty bad and I can feel really embarrassed about it, so it's nice to see someone else who has it :)
Thanks for sharing this video, I’m always. On the look for a hair mask to help with dandruff 😉
Great video it's helpful 👍
Such a helpful video 😊
I needed this!
You're AMAZIN!! Thank you so much for this great mask!!!
I’m here one year later and this was literally *legit* the best (it left my hair amazingly moisturized... I would recommend to either blend it or just take a sieve and a spoon and take out the big banana pieces (I have long hair and this worked). I added less honey because I didn’t trust its consistency and it turned out well.

How often should I do it?
@@notavailable708 I wouldn’t know, I was recently diagnosed with dandruff and treated with a medicated shampoo for it, therefore I haven’t used this mask in a long time. But I’d say you should do it at least once a week (its very moisturizing, so your scalp won’t get dry and cause dandruff)
your hair is longer in every video! crazy how fast it's growing back
Going to try
If your banana isn’t ripe enough- poke some holes in it (use a fork) and throw it in the microwave for like 10-15 seconds!
I do this when I’m baking with bananas and it makes them softer
Hey I want to start making videos to, what camera do you use and what editing app did you download
Love hair by Mimi❤️❤️❤️✨
Can I use olive oil?
Is there any alternative for banana???
Heyyyyy what if, I do not have honey?
Omggggg, mine has gone from minimal to so much worse since I got a pixie cut 😭😭😭
Can i use dis ??
I have longgg hair ....can i ??
What’s a good substitution for coconut oil ?
Mathusha03 olive oil is pretty good as well!
Mathusha03 almond oil or castor oil
DON’T do this is you have long hair. I have very long hair down to the bottom of my back and I spent around half an hour in the shower combing out banana bits :( I should’ve read the comments and done this on a day I don’t have work!
same. the struggle doe
You need to blend the bananas in the blender. You can wash it very easily when it’s blended (I have long hair btw)
SOMETIMES, That’s not Dandruff. Have a Dermatologist confirm if it is Dandruff or Seborrheic Dermatitis ... But, this vid is helpful. 😊
Hope you have a fun Christmas 🎄🙂.
Wow
Would not recommend for even short Bob hair, I lost comparatively more hair while trying to remove blended banana stuck on my hair. But shaved head people, go for it!
i liked
Honey is not good for hair..turns white sooner
If you have long hair dnt use banana without sieving it through muslin cloth.. otherwise you will have small chunks of banana stuck in your hair badly😒😒 you end up washing your hair way too much , which makes your scalp more dry .
Navdeep Kaur use a strainer after blending banana it helps not to have too much buildup and prevents from over washing
Don't use lemon juice in your hair kids. It's acidic and it will lighten your hair
I noticed one of the ingredients is honey...are you no longer vegan?
Wait honey isn’t vegan
@@cryingattheclub5150 nope!
*yall better blend that banana in blender!!*
(to prevent the banana chunks stucked in ur hair:))
hey there will it wash out if it’s blended down to a thinner consistency?
I do not recommend this for people with long hair! If you are willing to try it I suggest that you purify the bananas. I have curly hair and tried this and it left my hair kind of stiff but not really. It took very long to take the banana chunks out. Tip: brush your hair out while in the shower to to take the banana chunks out easily.
SüNNÿ Sïdë üp how do you purify the banana's?

The banana is REALLY HARD TO GET OUT!!! :( Seriously struggling with it!
same! all you need to do is give it 3-4 washes and it’s gone 💓
Great now i have banana all over my hair and i can't wash it off
I have a kind of overgrown Mohawk that goes shoulder length when i leave it down... It took me 2 hrs to get most of the banana off🙆, my back hurts🙍, (conditioner helps getting it the banana off🍌)...no dranfruff👩, i don't feel right fully recommending this, but if you have a dandruff problem❄ then be aware of your hair length for how much time ⏰you'll have to invest.🔊UsE the BLenDEr!!!!
Use a comb to get the banana off
Same I just done it and I have banana pieces of my hair but my hair is long like it reaches my bum 😅 but my dandruff is still not gone 🤦🏻♀️ such a waste of time and products
I tried it on my boyfriend (who has the same hair length as you) and it didn’t work. I know you didn’t invent this hair mask so I’m really not blaming you :) but it’s kind of hypocrite to show the results like 5 minutes after the shower bc the dandruff never comes right after it. would have been more interesting to see it 2 hours later.
you are ridiculously adorable
Hardest Thing: Wearing Dark clothes while having dandruff 😬
If u have long hair don’t use it I took like 3-4 hours to get it all out 😤
Next time hun plz read all the comments b4 u try something(as well as giving it a neg review) ACTUALLY SHE SAID THIS IN THE VIDEO AS WELL, and u would've seen/heard using a BLENDER or strainer for the banana n the rest of ingredients you'd have been able to wash out much better!!!
@@ccbeers1 I wasn’t trying to say it in any negitive way just try to let people know before the do something like this, I read threw the comments and watched the whole video before doing it, not everyone’s hair is the same i was just letting people know that if you have long thick hair it’s gonna be hard,am I not aloud to comment my opinion?☺️
@@giannadelaby8884 replying that comment originally would've been great, unfortunately instead u told everyone not to use the mask if they had long hair. I've read reviews as well, and long haired people including myself have used the mask without the same problems you encountered. Everyone is entitled to an opinion including me, and what I'm trying to tell you is, a little elaboration, and omitting the group attribution error is the only way your first comment is in any way fair to JaaackJack- her post- or the product. Thank you, have a pleasant day.
@@ccbeers1 the sad thing about is you wasted your time replying to someone’s year old comment, that my friend is embarrassing and humiliating for you, I was trying to put my opinion out there to help long thick haired girls☺️
@@giannadelaby8884 lol these posts are forever. Women with thick, long hair will be trying this mask for years. Even if my comments help one person try this mask my efforts are well worth it. The only reason I tried the mask originally was to support my son, who has the thickest hair of any person I've ever met, and a serious dry scalp condition. This mask has been unbelievably beneficial to him!!! I did not want others that may also experience this benefit not to try this mask because of the incorrect assumption, and negativity you commented. Sadly, this offends you, however I will not berate you return...again, have a pleasant day.
Thank you I will definitely use this
