Viktor is still one of my fav player. he is just frustrated with himself and he don't hide it. Despite that, he have great sportsmanship and still one of the the favorite to win the Olympic gold medal.

Chou tien chen's way of defense is really nice! It was impressing. But, axelsen seems to lose his shape lately cuz he hasn't won any title throughout 2024. Is it because he is losing the motivation just like novak djokovic in tennis cuz he's been nearly 37 years old and is still no. 1, but he hasn't won any title either since 2024?
This is actually a long-term result of Chinese, Malaysian, and Indonesian Badminton having influence overseas. A lot of coaches and old professionals have moved overseas and taught in various other countries. The average badminton level, as a result of this, has increased enormously. Previously, it was easy to distinguish the top 3 players because the pinnacle was so far from the top. Now, the pinnacle isn't that far from the top 20 or 30. Essentially, what we're likely to see is a lot more upsets in the coming years, and eventually, we will see a new era of incredibly talented players after the current generation branch out into educational fields as well.
If VA kept himself composed in the 3rd set, he can still win it. Unfortunately, he can't and CTC really took advantage of it and finished the game. Great match though
