Exactly! Although they DID pressure and guilt trip him to help to be the vehicle to facilitate Ella's story. If he didn't do it, she wouldn't be able to tell her story. They were never matched for compatibility.

Even if you commit su1cude after the show as a result, they can't be sued. If you die on set or get hurt you can't sue. If your family members get hurt or killed as a result of thr show you can't sue. They cover all bases. I know because I nearly signed a contract for the aussie The Bachelor and after reading the contract I backed out. The stuff it said was crazy.. "We can create a fraudulent and create inaccurate portrayal of you and replay this throughout the universe in perpetuity on all currently known and future media devices currently not in existence, throughout the universe in perpetuity" it literally says that I'll never forget it.. they seriously cover ALLL BASES. Why do you think they never get sued. You literally can't, that's what the contracts are for. Anyone who signs one is doing it out of desperation.. that's the types who join these shows, they actually sign away their lives for fame. If you get disfigured on the show or just anything you can think of.. They aren't liable

This is deeper than her beinf trans. She had multiple traits that he didnt want. Ive watched these episodes and I really warmed to Nathaniel from the beginning he really came across as a good kind person (with amazing and on point dress sense!!). I could see as soon as the honeymoon was happening he was turned right off. I think Ella was very emotionally immature and all she ever spoke about was sex and looks, whos pretty, i am pretty, is his ex pretty when she was with JJ, I mean regardless of any trans journey why didnt they pick some people with more depth? She came across as super super shallow, and nobody is gonna warm to that personality unless they too are the same, selfish and shallow. It wouldnt of worked with Ella and any guy they paired her with, cus I think Ella has got major hang ups, hence her world seemed to be constantly revolved around dressing in a way to shock others, going out get very drunk and then talking about the way she looked? how could any normal person man or woman stand that for 5 mins!
The show needs to change the format away from this age group, and go older, like 40 plus more depth please and less of the self obsessed bunch.

I wasn't very keen on Ella, coming into her womanhood she over sexualies herself in everyday. I felt she played to the cameras alot. I could tell nate was serious about what he came there for which was to actually fine a partner. I'm glad he represented himself in truth and dignity. Yes there were times when he got angry but I'm not surprised.

I know a disabled person who was asked to appear on the show The Undateables. The guy didn't want to do it and was only asked because he had been on T.V. and been seen by the production team. They wanted him on their show and asked him to fit in with what they wanted. He was also asked to appear on a Judge Rinder show also saying it didn't matter what was said just please be on our show. These shows need drama and the producers just churn out what fits their narrative. Some people can go through with it others can't seemingly Nathanial couldn't.

Regardless of what's going on with Ella and their trans, Nathaniel should have been open & honest from the beginning. The big argument they had at the dinner party was disgusting and he treated Ella appallingly. He's a boring, misersble, condensending & ungenuine person. He said horrible things to Ella, the gaslighting was excrutiating. He didnt even want Ella! so what if she had a connection elsewhere. He could have been gracious about it and wished them both well, but instead made it his excuse to bail out and putting all the blame on Ella.
If the producers had set this up, Nathaniel should realise that it was THEIR fault and not Ella's as at the end of the day, Ella was looking for love as well. There was no excuse for him to be bitter at the wrong people.

I have no problem dating transmen for example but I strongly prefer to date cis men, cis women or transwomen. Nathaniel’s preference is clearly men despite being attracted to all genders.

Because I’ve always been told that bi means that you are attracted to two or more (all) genders but you have preferences, while when you’re pan you are “blind” to the gender and only really see the personality. I’m confused by his orientation tbh because he clearly stated on his “ stag night” when he meet the other guys that he didn’t mind being matched with a man or a woman and he stated that he was pan sexual and the person’s personality was more important then their gender. At points here he seems like he’s uncomfortable or not being honest. I don’t believe he went on the show to support the LQBTQ community because he also said he wanted to fall in love. I disagree with so many of these comments 😂 Nathaniel was on this show for fame and to get his name and drama out there aswell. I do not believe this was all on Ella. Otherwise why was Nathaniel in so many different podcasts DM’s for him to go on and speak about himself etc before people had even seen all of the episodes? For example, he was in the Sh!tsNGigs podcasts DM’s not long after the episodes of the wedding ceremonies, with a link to a MSM article to try and tell his story before anyone else could.
Don’t get me wrong, I agree these shows are for the drama and add things unnecessary for additional entertainment but I do not see Nathaniel as a victim what so ever. It's interesting to unpack this. I'm guessing that everyone else in that show was a heterosexual pairing? So basically, it looks like what the showrunners did was look at this situation and go, "oh hey, he's a gay man [or a bisexual man who prefers masculine and male people], here's this man pretending to be a woman over here, they're both LGBT, it's perfect!" I suspect the showrunners are now calling Nathaniel a liar not because he isn't telling the truth but because the truth is they saw Ella as a man all along.
