Went too Morecambe many years ago in the early 90s (showing my age now ) . Great little place . only stayed 2 days but enjoyed it so much .Changed a lot now though .
The 80's and 90's was when I Hetty grew up there and absolutely loved it. They are starting to invest again but it honesty we feel there is alot of call for traditional British seaside, if it gets revamped it needs some of the charm putting back in. Still love the place though. We are huge fans of Southport and Llandudno fir the vintage seaside feel
0:38 You walked by that elf movie poster, in that movie, that mall santa who tackled will farel's character. He had written a book called 'Too Fat to Fish'. i met him at a book signing 😊
Awww it's lovely to think something we randomly passed brought back a good memory for you 😊 canyon believe I'm yet to watch 'elf' my own son is gobsmacked 🤣 ' home alone' has been our go to Christmas movie 🎬
@outandaboutwithus the original Die Hard is the Villegas family Christmas movie, lol. Home alone is a classic, yet it's been ages since I've seen that. The expression I made whilst reading you haven't seen elf was utter shock lol. Gobsmacked, exactly lol. Cheers anyway, Oh, congratulations on your 1k subs 👏 🎇🎆
@josevillegas8083 will have to put it on my priority watch this Christmas 😅. Thank you very much and if you haven't already (my goldfish memory may of forgot previous encounters 🤣😂), maybe you would consider subscribing also. Love a good family Christmas. Wishing you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a great New year. Thanks very much for watching and taking the time to have a natter 😊
@@outandaboutwithus Inn Collection took over from Lakeland Hotels a few months ago. They have done away with reception, stopped fine dining and all service. Now just a pub with rooms but they have kept the four star prices. Staff demoralised. Views remain great. Huge shame. Such an iconic building.
@1111575 that is terrible and doesn't actually make any business sense with the Eden project due to go underway and the building itself being iconic. What a waste 🙄 thank you for updating us. We will be looking into that when we are next in town
That wash room is exceptional, staring at the staircase 🔥
It was the spiral staircase that wow'd us 😊
Love a bit of Morecombe and we'll done on 1k subs merry Xmas u and family

Ruined by new owners.
Has there been recent new owners or just the most recent if that makes sense?
