So a little info about Sig Sauer. The full size 9mm P226 was introduced in '84. The Sig Sauer 9mm P228 was introduced in '88, as a smaller more concealable version of the P226. The U.S. military adopted the P228 as the M11 in the early 90's. The gun you have in the video is an updated direct descendent of the P228/M11. Around '91-'92 with the advent of .40 S&W Sig Sauer introduced the P229 in said caliber. The P229 had a beefed up slide to handle .40.S&W. In 1997 Sig Sauer discontinued the P228, (there were occasional runs up until 2005, but the gun was essentially discontinued). The P228 and P229 were very similar, so Sig Sauer decided to offer the P229 in both 9mm and .40 S&W. They continued to make the P228/M11 for the military, in 9mm, with a milled stainless slide. However since the P228 was discontinued for the most part by 2005, but the P229 was in the line up,, all M11's as featured in your video, came with grip panels that say P229.
Years ago the 220 was .45ACP and 226 was 9mm, then the 229 came out as .40 caliber. 229 also had a solid steel milled slide, the 220 and 226 were made with stamped slides. In recent years they have deviated from that numbering system. I don't know about SIG ownership, some or all of the company is now based in the US.
If that was my gun I’d change the sights. My 320 I put the Wilson Combat sights on it, shoots tad high at 25 yards which is fine for me. Glad your back!!
A family once had some cattle and having had to brand a few myself because of crazy levels of theft and poaching, I subscribed. Stay strong 👍

THE SIG P228 IS THE M-11 NOT THE P-229. THE P-229 CAME OUT IN 40 CAL AND 357 SIG AND CAN BE HAD IN 9MM ALSO . THE 229 IS A BEEFER FRAME.
That is very interesting The gun has m-11 and 229 on it. I do like the old school Sigs. Maybe because I am old too Haha
MAYBE NEW MODEL OF THE M-11
