Hi sophie, thanks, yes. well I liked the university and the course I wanted to study. But the admission policy made it hard for me. I hold a Business studies with Marketing degree plus a post grad certificate in International Banking and Finance from UK universities . Top of that I have over five years of industry experience. Now the course I was interested at Maastricht University was International business with entrepreneurship (MSc). The admission policy stated I should have SAT English language test and a GMAT. as far as I know those are for students with non-English speaking backgrounds and countries, plus GMAT is mainly for studying MBA if one has non business/commerce background. Hence it was waste of time and irrelevant . Also I have noticed in the UK when any students from EU member state enrolls they get home fee charged, but despite being UK citizen I was told to pay full International fee, which I find it bit odd. But overall the University is wonderful student friendly place.
For all UK students coming to study to Maastricht University, HousingAnywhere can help you get that comfortable appartment that you wish for.
English or Dutch - it depends on what you want to study!
I wish that I could be there next year 💖
I'm a British student. willing to study at Masstricht. been to the post graduate open day in 2014. but their admission policy put me off.
Can I ask what put you off? I am considering Maastricht for a postgrad Masters
