Thank you for sharing your wonderful trip in Tromso. what is your best memory? When you fell on cross country ski, it made me very very happy lol no harm feeling.
Haha, that’s ok, I know what you mean! It is hard to pick one, obviously the northern lights were very special, but I think best was navigating some of the more difficult bits when husky sledding - we didn’t crash or turn over, and many other sleds did, so we were lucky!
Wow! You picked the perfect time to see the Northen lights! Did you go with a company for cross country skiing? Where is the trail that you are on bc it looks nice and gentle. 😝 Thank you
@@michellehuynh8451 we were very lucky! Yes, I went with Tromso Outdoor for the cross-country skiing, I was one of three in a small organised group. The trail is on Tromsoya Island, I think it’s Charlottenlund Recreation Park which is a free park if you are just going yourself, and has a range of trails including many perfect for those learning.
Hi, your video is so touching me! I will be there shortly. Congratulations on your amazing northern lights. Wow! Do you remember the KP index (which predicts northern light possibility) when you saw the northern lights? Was the KP 4-5 at that time? Since during my trip the KP will be 2-3, so I am worried.
Hi there, thanks for your very nice comments! Unfortunately I don’t remember what the KP index was, but local people were saying that it was quite active so I imagine it was elevated. I hope you get to see them!
Would you mind to tell me that video was taken in Oct or Nov? I am planning to visit Tromso in Oct 2023..just want to know the weather in this period. Thanks.
Hi, it was actually taken in March (2022)! So that doesn’t give you any great clues, but I imagine the weather would be similar in October - not sure what the snow cover would be like though.
I've been there 11 years ago.
Incredibly beautiful
and incredibly high price level.
Yes, the high costs are unavoidable alas!
This is really wonderful trip!I I do enjoy the whole video. Thank you for sharing your experience there. ❤️❤️

@@BarryKenny thank you for your prompt response!
Great video! What company did you use for the husky sledding?
Thanks Bobby! I did the sledding with Active Tromso. It’s a proper workout! www.activetromso.no

Thanks Rudi! I was there for three days, before taking the Hurtigruten ferry to Bergen (that video will be coming soon!)

And one more thing, did you take a picture of the northern lights with your camera or iphone? I would appreciate if you answer me. Thanks.
I took some pictures with iPhone, and some with a GoPro.
