Very good, but I still love Jerry Lee's version on the London Sessions album from a little while back. Too old to remember when. If this this young pup sticks in he might go places!!!!!!
Best version I've heard of this particular song, and, yes, it is one of my favorite songs. I grew up on PPM's version and Gordon Lightfoot's. Their's were excellent, but this one is even better. Didn't Glen Campbell also release a version of this song? If memory serves me well, I think so.
Pretty much everyone has done a version of this Lightfoot composition (Dylan, Tony Rice, Neil Young, Bobby Bare, Kingston Trio, Grateful Dead) but surprisingly I can only find Campbell doing Jimmy Webb's "Early Morning Song."
Hands full of dust and a soul full of shame - you can't sing these songs without pity. I just had to break to let our little mongerel kitty in - fluffy mountain lion who leaps & climbs everything. Blue eyes let get away with everything.
One of the best covers of this song, Richard sings it spot on, just how you would expect from him. Sheffields finest.
And Some .
I did not know Richard had recorded
this classic song. Thanks .
Awesome vocal love Richard Hawley superb.
great cover , love everything Richard does ,
His haunting voice seals this tune as a keeper.
Rip Gordon Lightfoot.... Richard Hawley does this song proud.
Great version of my favorite song.
he has a unique quality and sound to his voice which makes him different from any other singer no one can touch him regarding his talents hes the best
This song makes me lonesome for the mountains and highways of Alberta😥💔💕💞👍✌👌
Thanks Richard Great version of this old classic your beautiful voice and authentic feel superb
This is one of my all time favorite songs by Elvis Presley and now Richard has recorded it too ........life is good 💜
Another killer version of this song. If you like the song, try Paul Weller's version is right up there...
Go on this way, mate!!!
Beautiful :)

Nice version of a Gordon Lightfoot Classic.

Lightfoots version had that erieness about it...this is more modern and upbeat. Both good for the same reasons I guess.
Paul Weller's version is pretty good as well. And even Elvis's take on this song is good.
Coutu Joël Elvis’s take on any song is good.
top version . tony rice done a version too.
Got a soft spot for the Dylan version but this is pretty fine.
Sounds a lot like Paul Stookey
Good cover, but PPM still best!
different class !
good cover but not as good as Paul Weller
