Spectacular, ‘78-79 Bronco’s my favorite years. Hope to come across one someday. I had a 78 and a 79 about twenty five years ago but at the time starting a new family so for practically reasons had to sell them. I like the worn look. He did the most important part, the drive train. It can be utilized while still deciding if he wants to paint it or just leave it as is. Thanks for the video.
I had ranchos on mine and after 100 miles on a brand a new set of four I swapped to bilstein 5100’s, you will be glad that you did. Love that color. 78-79 the best generation of vintage Bronco !!
I LOVE 2nd gen broncos!!! They've always been a favorite since I was a kid. I'm on my 2nd one now. My first I sold when I was a senior in HS, it was a cherry 79. Now, after 21 years without one, I've got another 79 with a 460 I've been restomodding, but also driving as well. If you're ever in Orlando, hit me up and we'll cruise some classic Fords together down to Ace Cafe or something.
My my my😮😮😮😮 Damn that's so well done. I miss my 79 big block 😢😢she wasn't fast but she had low end torque for that ass. Beautiful rig brother 😊 very well done, love the coyote swap
If your ever In Oregon come by and look at my truck, it’s a 64 f250 cab on a 73 f250 chassis with a 12 valve Cummins and nv4500 and I’m working on a 70 crew cab that’s getting super duty axles and a Cummins, love the content keep it up
@@FordEra That's a great idea! I don't know why I never thought of that... Perfect for a smoker too LOL! Thanks for the reply! Always learning cool stuff on your channel.
Quick question...what did you do to keep the patina? Just put a clear coat finish on top? If so, is it satin or glossy etc..love the truck man I have a 78 with a 351m and I am trying figure out my approach to restoring
I have ha 4 of these in my lifetime. The greatest 1/2 ton wheeling truck to date. I have had a Plymouth Trailduster (Dodge Ramcharger) a 69 Blazer and 85 Blazer but the bronco is by far superior, more comfortable on long trips, more comfortable off road and durable as hell.
Very nice you don't see those Broncos alot anymore
My favorite year of Bronco’s
WHAT WE'ER GOING TO DO IS DRIVE IT. THERE YOU HAVE IT!

I've had my 79 bronco for 18 years and a coyote swap is my dream for it. Unfortunately it's not in the budget at the moment.
What are those wing window lock spacers that say "Have you driven a Ford lately?" on them? I need some.
