They're the greatest in my eyes! I grew up on the streets of Boston in the 80's & 90's. I was always in fights in school & on the streets! They always reminded me of me. And if I was 18 or 21 right now. There's no doubt I'd be training and fighting in MMA. I love there toughness and the way they play possom till the 4th & 5th rounds. In the beginning it took out everyone! They've taught a lot of fighters to jump in the pool, jump on a bike and to teach that cardio was one of the most important things in a fight. They are both still my favorite fighters & it will be a sad day when Nate retires which I think is coming soon? I don’t particularly care about what these boys do on their own time that’s their business, What I do care about and respect about these brothers is they have no fear of anyone, they work hard, are very entertaining in the ring and most of all, they are two of the toughest most durable fighters I’ve seen in my 73 years.. I’ve loved and been fortunate to see great fighters like Caseous Clay (Mohammed Ali), Frazier, Holmes and best of all Mike Tyson fight through their careers (there are others but the names fail me know). There are several MMA fighters from the 90’s and early 2000 that I have had the pleasure of following, all this said, but I will not ever miss a Diaz fight no way no how. I love watching these guys and will hate the day when they quit for good. They are at the top of my list of the best.
