I strongly “identify” with your struggles. As a fellow ADHD / fearful avoidant / C-PTSD / anxious alphabet soup person with a lot of healing ahead (and behind ❤) me, I strongly relate to your content. Your voice “speaks to me”. I'll be there when you feel like posting more. 🫂

I think you are a great mentor for me as I continue on my journey. It was scary for me the first time I let my wife know what it was about our arguments that triggered me so much. I finally told that when she is mad it triggers the little kid inside of me that was verbally abused by his dad. He just takes over and protects me. It was a pivotal moment. Now when we argue, as any of my protectors show up, I see them and observe them while remaining calm. It’s still a struggle but yours and Forrest’s videos teach me a lot of new information to ponder. Thank you😀

" I was willing to lose everything in order to change" Oh, Elizabeth

As someone who was born female with the same narratives and identifies with FA-attachment style as well, this was very insight- and helpful. I follow a very similar pattern of clinging and pushing, scared of losing someone and scared of being too close at the same time.
I feel empowered now to work on myself instead of feeling despair that this will never change.
Thank you so much for this important message!

thank you for the messaging that taking responsibility for your attachment style is not your fault. knowing yourself and understanding yourself without shame and judgment can be so difficult but it's so worth it.

This video HUGELY shifted my perspective. The narrative around attachment styles was just another source of shame, so I just ignored them. Your insights really helped shift that. Thank you.
Do you have any recommended exercises/materials on attachment styles and how to heal them?

This! I resonated w/ so much here: from your attachment style to the whirlwind of push/pull in relationships, never fully allowing myself to love or be loved, etc. I'm curious what will happen if/when the relationship w/ current partner ends..I think that will be another growth/learning moment. You can either walk away & be grateful for the relationship OR it can reinforce the 'myth' you were taught growing up about men. I know myself as FA..it's not easy for me or a partner bc of the push/pull..it's alot!! I'm happy for you that you challenged your fears and was able to heal. "On the other side of fear, is a you, you don't know". Sounds like you've come out the other end with love & light..and I'm grateful for it bc you're helping ppl like me and it's also one less 'hurt' person in the world to hurt others.

I watch a lot of videos about attachment on UA-cam, and your perspective resonates with me in a way most of those other videos haven't. Thank you for sharing!

Love this . Found you from watching Forrest’s podcast. I’m the 55 yr old version of you. Cptsd , inattentive adhd, FA attachment earned mostly secure working in mental health field (RN) on a similar spiritual path. I resonate so much with your somatic work❤. I’m thankful to find you

I recently discovered about the work of Dr. Ferreira through Dr. Hanson podcast. I basically watched all of Dr. Ferrereira videos in a weekend😂. How much truth, how much wisdom and how much humanity she shares. How refreshing she looks and she sounds in today’s world of rudeness and appearance. How lifted I feel, just like after reading a poem from Maya Angelou.
Thanks Elizabeth and please keep doing this! I am from and I live in Italy, so if you will ever do online sessions please let us know!
I wish you the best of luck for you and your work ❤

Haha, my partner changed his name on my phone to 'prince charming' years ago. 😄
With him i have the same experience as you talked about with Forrest. And all of the deep healing started with him.
    Thank you for this video!

I subscribed only 2 mins in. I love that you did a gorunding experience before even starting. It's difficult to gain new insights and resources while in a dysregulated state. Awesome🙌🏾

Wonderful information. Thanks for this perspective on attachment. As someone who finally figured out that CPTSD is a big part of the issues I’ve had, your podcasts and videos have been very helpful.

Just posting one more comment on your videos, I'm nervous asking but can you message me somehow please? You match EXACTLY what I'm looking for in a woman.
