Diesel heater seems daunting
I'm getting the impression that anything that plugs into a cigarette lighter is going to be useless and pathetic below 20 degrees Fahrenheit

Yes you can! But you get lots condensation on your windshield and always use a smoke detector or carbomon detector

Fogs up the windows and you can't see. Quick stop will knock it out of your seat and may cause damage.
