Thanks Jason. My wife was asking if Ollie would be ok with me showing in the video that we didn't know what was what in the image and I said "nah, he will probably lead with that in his video..... and he did 🤣. The LMC is cocka block with interesting nebula formations, star clusters etc to keep any southern hemisphern astrophotographer busy for a very long time. CS
Thanks Stewart. Collabs are a lot of fun, especially when you don't know exactly what we were imaging which you may have subtly picked up from the video 🤣. Clear skies.
Excellent colab gentleman 😀 What a great target! You get all the great targets down there🤣 Interesting to hear some of the science behind it all! I’ve heard that before, that we can only see 5%, meaning the rest is dark matter! Mind blowing! Both Fantastic images! Keep up the good work Logan👍 Clear skies!
Thanks Simon. Yep pretty much everything about space is mind blowing that's for sure. Hopefully some day we can get some cameras that can image dark matter and then we will have a whole new bunch of targets to image 🤣. Clear skies.
Amazing images Logan and Ollie! Enjoyed the science bit too. Someday I hope to be able to see the gems of southern hemisphere with my own eyes. Clear Skies!
Thanks Ernie. If you can get down to the southern hemisphere and into some dark skies, you can see the LMC and SMC with your eyes which is pretty cool being able to visually see two galaxies without the aid of ta telescope. Clear skies.
Fantastic collaboration Logan and Ollie always amazing to see how different people edit the same date, many thanks to both of you for taking the time to make these videos
Thanks Nik. Desperate weather calls for desperate measures and a collab seemed like the only way to get some serious integration hours. How many panels is the LMC mosaic going to be? ( we are so lucky down here to have two very close and naked eye visible galaxies to image). Clear skies.
Haha, the intro, definetely relatable 😄 Great job guys, now these are some numbers on the integration time x.x Two lovely edits with massive detail! If I have to be honest, I'd chose your style Logan, as I'm more a fan of warmer colors in general :D (but thats just personal preference, Ollie did and outstanding job, too) Cheers from (similarly cloudy) Germany! :)
Thanks Chris. Yes the weather has been very frustrating but amazingly I have had another clear night with some more in the forecast - hallelujah. It is fun to see how differently we interpret the data and I guess that's the joy of mono imaging. I hope Germany gets a turn around in the weather soon so I can enjoy some more of your videos. Clear skies 🤞
Awesome collab! Living in the northern hemisphere, there are a number of objects I'd love be able to get - such as imaging a nebula in a neighboring galaxy - but can't from my location. Anyways, I really love the HOO image, more my colors. CS!
Beautiful images! They evoke Van Gogh's "Starry Night" for me. Just wonderful.
Thank you Dave, very much appreciated. However, I have no plans to cut off one ear 😅. Clear skies.
Wow you’ve got Hubble looking images
Thank you very much, that's very kind of you to say. The Cameras available to us in this hobby certainly give Hubble a run for its money. Clear skies.
great southern Hemi Collab! so much stuff in the image! you guys crack me up and I love your intro! CS

Great Video Logan, and another great collaboration, the final image is incredible, I love the colours…👍🏻

Awesome Collab! Very interesting seeing the two different takes on the same data. Both look great!
Thanks James. We are pleased to see the quite different but both cool interpretations of the data.
Great collab guys yeah rain it's been pretty bad here to but we can hope for clear skies soon (I hope)
Thanks very much Tich. I hope your weather turns around and an you can get back under the stars.

Nice job Logan and Ollie!
Thanks very much Dalphine. Clear skies.

Thanks very much Tony. The collabs are always fun and we were pleased that we came away with very different but pretty cool versions. Clear skies.
Lol we found what we were imaging in the end Logan 🤣 Ah so that's what deuterium is, there always referencing that in Star Trek. Great collab mate.
Thanks fore another fun collab. Now that we know what Deuterium is, I thought we could image the Klingon home world as our next collab. 🤣
Love these collabs guys My next target after I eventually finish my LMC mosaic.
Great to see how we all interpret images differently

Hey Logan, at this stage 6 maybe 9 depending on what eventuates , the LMC is my favourite target that's for sure @@LogansAstro

Thanks Dave. Yep, we are definitely lucky down here to be able to image in detail, nebulae in a couple o galaxies outside of our own. Clear skies
