I'm a dual national, so can't lose this final. Spain have been the better team by far, but England have 7 players who played in the last final and have momentum. That counts. England also put a lot of pressure on opponents with that flawless penalty shootout against Slovakia.

Here's my take. I live here in Spain. My son plays football in a mainly Spanish team. He is exceptional and plays for the under 11's despite being only 8. And whilst he is as technical as the Spanish kids, he/we noticed that they do not like the physical side of the game. I think this tells me, that dependent on the referee, we can match them technically with our players and (referee permitting) we can play a more physical game and get the better of them. The Spanish in particular (no disrespect) are much more likely to moan and retreat from a physical battle on the pitch. If we are allowed to make it ugly and attritional we really can do this!!

still think the subs should have been 15 minutes earlier. it had been drifting for a while and it looked like Holland were the only team likely to score in the last half hour
Ironically I think the fact we don't play great attacking football is what gives us a chance, if we try to beat Spain by being Spain then we'll lose. Its an interesting matchup
All I know is winning will do Bowen a world of good.

Could you do a video together on what you think our potential starting 11 will be? I’ve been playing around with 4-3-3 and also 3-5-2. It is interesting and opens up a lot of questions as to what roles our bench players will play, when would souceck or jwp come on and why?
I have also noticed that in a 4-3-3 we would need paqueta and kudus playing as box-to-box to avoid us getting overrun, but arguably our midfield 3 is still weak defensively (kudus paq alvarez). It’s also clear we need a LW for a 4-3-3 (unless kudus goes there but i dont think that gets the best out of him and his ball carrying ability); but will a young gassova be able to start from early on as our lw?
3-5-2 with dhuran and bowen up top looks class. I think this is possible given kilman being important to JLo and his preference to play in a 3.
