To those surgeons who fixed Mark Geist's arm- you did an awesome job. I can't easily tell that the arm was halfway blown off and hanging at one point in time. I salute these guys and their fallen comrades.

We all remember the lies told and Clinton hearing. It's so sad when an Ambassador had requested more security over 60 times. These men disobeyed orders by not standing down and were insanely brave to go it alone. I was very proud that we have men like these. God bless you 💙

I'm blasting the movie I've seen 20+ times all over Facebook, Telegram, and Rumble so people can kinda understand a little of what's going on now in Afghanistan. First Michael Bay movie I watched. Glad it was this one, from what I hear it only gets worse and worse lol. This was surprisingly enjoyable and well done. Glad to hear it's also very faithful to the real events, that's neat.
Kris said the characters were correct so I guess it’s true he was the joker I always thought they just added that into the movie.
I loved the book. I loved the movie. But I do have a question if anyone knows the answer. Was the violence in the book toned down or was it amped up in the movie? I just remembered the book being a little bit unsure of where enemy attackers were when they were taking fire. Then the scene with the technical and tig blowing it up with a grenade launcher. All that didn't seem to appear in the book. And also the bus scene that ends in a huge explosion. Not in the book. I was just wondering if extra combat scenes were added to the movie for the dramatic effect or if they intentionally left the book PG so that it was not glorifying that aspect of the story?
In real life, no vehicles were blow up, the team only fired three grenades on their way to the front gate of the diplomatic mission, Tiggie Boy Tiegen spent a total of about six seconds firing his weapon at the diplomatic compound and the heavy fighting was done by February 17.
There was no stand down order. The Chief of Base cleared the GRS rescue mission to the diplomatic facility "instantly, on the spot, without equivocation", when the GRS Team Leader told the Chief "we got to go get those guys."
It was the GRS Team Leader, not the Chief of Base who delayed the departure of the team from the Annex. The Team Leader wanted February 17 to assist the team with machine gun trucks. The Chief attempted, but failed make contact with anyone with February 17 who had a gun truck. It was the Team Leader who made the decision on when to depart the Annex.
The three CIA contractor's claim that they were told to stand down is hogwash.
The violence in real life was nowhere near what was portrayed in the movie. According to John Tiegen, the CIA team did very little fighting at the diplomatic mission. Keep in mind Feb 17 sent about 60 men to the diplomatic mission. By the time the CIA team arrived, Feb 17 had taken control of the streets around the diplomatic mission. No vehicles were blown up. Tiegen admitted he fired only 90 rounds of ammo at the diplomatic facility.
John Tiegen, Kris Paronto and Mark Geist claim the Chief of Base issued a stand down order to John Tiegen. On it's face, that seems strange. If the Chief intended to stand down the mission, he would have told everyone involved. Not just one of them.
Kris Paronto admitted under oath that he didn't hear the Chief tell Tiegen to stand down. Geist wasn't even at the CIA Annex at the time Tiegen claims the Chief told him to stand down.
Tiegen's story is contradicted by the Chief, the Deputy Chief and the GRS Team Leader. The Chief adamantly denies that he told anyone to stand down. The Deputy Chief testified that the Chief cleared the GRS Team Leader request to go assist the diplomatic mission, "instantly, on the spot, without equivocation." The GRS Team Leader testified that the Chief was helping him by trying to reach Feb 17 to request assistance. When the Chief was unsuccessful in his attempts to reach anyone with Feb 17 who had a machine gun truck, the GRS Team Leader made the decision to depart the Annex. When the GRS Team Leader told the Chief the GRS Team was leaving, the Chief said nothing to him about standing down.
Bottom line, is Tiegen is lying and the other two are playing along to exploit the deaths of the four Americans for financial gain.
In SA where Inamnthis is the first we're hearing about this any way not important. In my humble opinion this waa murder why kn God's earth woukd you send an ambassador to Libya/Benghazi well known dangerous place without the proper protection? Just leave it up to a few guys to do the job makes no sense. I do believe they were ordered to stand down. I've heard Mark Geist talk about what the team did at the diplomatic mission, as if he was one of the six men who went there. He didn't even go to the diplomatic mission. They lie so much, you never know if they're telling the truth.
They are from a direct off shoot of Blackwater. Mercenaries have no honor, no loyalty, no morality but for profit. I mean it is a living but I would never believe a word they ever have to say especially when Ambassador Stevens is rescued after they left the area and lied about how far the annex building is to the Ambassador residence (they could have walked in ten minutes) I honestly do not think that there was even a fire fight. Maybe some shots fired in the air as they were setting all the cars on fire and trying to burn out/smoke out the ambassador?
Don Emigholz Jr. I'm sure some points and maybe the scale of things were exaggerated, but to say these guys didn't have any honor is a harsh thing to say. They're all veterans, and experienced veterans at that. One of the guys that was killed was actually part of the seal team who rescued captain Phillips. I don't know if you have any veterans in your life, I don't, but I've been around them and you can see they have a connection and a sense of brotherhood just wearing the flag.
They May be fooled but the day comes when they are paid to kill. They can do whatever they want, say whatever they want but they are working for people that hire them to make them money. Working for the .001% that has forgotten or do not even care what morality is. I understand it is a job but that is it.
