Marcel is meme'd on a lot but from his perspective the club has to at some point make a decision on who will be the manager and back them through the inevitable (because it has happened with every manager since SAF) mutiny by the players when the times comes for the system to be changed and current players cleared out.
Literally going in circles with these players, there's no manager with a magic wand that's going to fix United in 2 seasons, this is a 5+ season job at this point, that's how bad it's gotten.

I feel for Marcel man, talks a lot of sense. Tries to approach it from a calm and realistic standpoint but is constantly met with the football twitter-esque outrage and sound bites moaning about ‘excuses’ and ‘standards’ without offering any real insight other than ‘rip it all up’.
This club is essentially half way through ‘ripping it all up’ and if we move all these players on like what is being reported, we’ll be left with a new and improved technical structure and a manager any top club would want to lead the new vision forwards. The biggest mistake Ten hag did in his United career was finishing 3rd, getting to 2 cup finals and winning one. Cos now all of a sudden, fans think we had arrived. He hurt himself by doing that last season.
Our performance this seaon is exactly what i expected last season but he compromised his game plan just to win last season.

The tactics may make sense on paper but we all know football is not played on paper. This is the Premiership and by now EtH needed to realise that his tactics are not working; whether it be the players or not.

Marcel said the players need to be up regulated and the midfield needs help from the defensive group partnership pairing but if the forward line goes to the back or up front it is to far away from the high press and it causes serious risk and the system can’t work but this doesn’t actually mean it won’t work because it might and that is possible but if our left midfielder could do what the right back does then the goalkeeper makes a great save but overall the the strikers have to move as a group because the forward press is risky and you can’t see what the centre back is doing and so if you are still reading this I would like to welcome you to Marcels world.

All we are asking for us a little bit of patience....get rid of some of the players in the summer....keep ten hag till Christmas and if he doesn't improve then change him....by then atleast the structure will be already there....is that too long to wait 😅😅? Plus if ten hag turns it around then better because atleast the project will have continued for a while meaning the team and style of play will be more stabilized...

Just because these players are paid world class/top class salaries doesn't mean their performances are of that level. This is a team sport. 4. Casemiro: have no legs anymore, decline so much since last season, not the same world class player
5. Dalot: steady player this season but play out of position on the left

8. Bruno: up and down performance, don't think typical number 10 that Ten hag want

So from 11 player we have
1. 1 flop signing which is Ten hag mistake (Antony)
2. 2 old player who no longer able to play in EPL (Casemiro Eriksen)
3. 3 youngster who have their breakthrough season (mainoo, garnacho, hojlund)
4. 1 experience player who still adapting to EPL (Onana)
5. 2 player that the coach never want (maguire, wan bissaka)
6. 2 decent first team player (Bruno- Dalot)
I don't think our squad is better than Burnley who build their team according to kompany vision. We collect player from different manager + put it some youngster+ give some old player and expect the manager to do miracle
Lets add mctominay, rashford, Lindelof, Varane, Shaw, mount, martial, Amad. Those player have problem aswell, so every player from our squad has problem either they are injury, performance decline, not suit to Ten hag style. You give those composition player to any manager and every manager Will struggle

Question: are these players good enough, have we had a settled team all season? Have any big teams struggle against the likes of Burnley, Sheffield United and the so-called poor teams in football? The issue is we are really more upset as to where we are in the league based on the expectation of what happened last season but not taking into account the factors of injury, player mentality, and the joke of recruitment and managing structure we have.
Again we dream of a big change, but I see the narrative just before the season ends with the Glazers again. No value in the Market is now replaced by- We have to sell to buy or FFP rules... SJR was to be the savior right? well, he is still with the Glazers and we have to use a small budget to get top talents (whether unknown or established players)... Will we get rid of those that the manager doesn't want? or will it be the same old with a fresh coat of paint?
