Yes, but remember, ASIAN and BERGER are leaders and have pricing power. Indigo Paint deals with luxury painting, in that segment little price increments do not affect much. Besides, crude will fall again but not the paint prices.

I think prices of paint companies decrease is due to raising in oil prices and Nomura's prediction for oil 150$ per barrel.
Sir I highly appreciate your teaching. I am after all your student and I have a doubt, you have ignored the rise in Crude oil prices which is the main raw material for paint industry. But the price of crude was around 140 in 2008, this company has survived many up and down and has a very strong management.
Also the products are good
Last time I used there paint it lasted for 7 years in external walls.

Stock Price of Bereger paint is down bcoz of the News that Kotak Institutional Equities downgrades co to "sell", and that is said by Vivek sir in this video, as far as Crude oil prices are concern so check its trading at the same level from past two weeks, Do you think if Crude oil is the reason than it would fall two week earlier. It's not sometimes a single reason for the stock price to come down, As Reason were created for the Stock Price to come down and to go up as well. 😀

Berger paints has given bonus shares in ratio of 1:5 hence price was bound to be down proportionally. Perhaps this is also one of the reason..
Apart from being bonus it has still gone down 10%
And let me tell you bonus does not mean it will go down. Pls clear your doubt
Generally it happens that after bonus price goes proportionally down. If some script is on rising trend then it may not..
@@p.n.sharma9921 sir price has already gone down proportionally on 23rd of this month and the adjusted price after fall was 643. After that now it's 570. That means 73 rupees is fall for Berger paint
i was holding L&T at 1600 levels which i shuffled to berger during market high at 865 range, now L&T has doubled almost and berger is still under loss. I hate myself for the decision and living with it!
L&t is buy and forget kind of share m holding it from covid time around 20 shares bought below 1000😂

For some companies, I have observed that in CWIP they have only 2-3cr, and next year suddenly their fixed assets gets increased by 2x or 3x wrt previous year fixed assets, how to interpret this thing, e.g. JTL industries, this company has nothing in CWIP but their fixed assed is growing 2x every years, and in Concalls also they have mentioned about their capacity expansion plan, but It seems like these expansion activities are not getting reflected in CWIP

Sir, crude price is also inreasing. This may also dampen their profits in near quaters. Asian paint is also correcting.
Hi Vivek, thank you very much and very good analysis. This price down was due various reasons and currently Asian and Berger doing exceptionally well and future is also exceptional in the market. The others factors like crude price increasing and berger is mostly in decorative paint. What your opinion on that?

Berger paints break out is bcz of bonus... Bergers futures not went up.. Before bonus 50 rupees difference between stock and future price of same month... Operater played game on bonus... Bcz of crude came back to normal after bonus
