Facebook live: Ask an expert about prostate cancer - with Professor Mark Emberton

For this year’s Movember campaign we held the first ever UCLH Facebook Live web chat. We talked about prostate cancer with our world leading expert Professor Mark Emberton.
Professor Emberton is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at University College London Hospitals and Professor of Interventional Oncology at University College London where he is also Director of Surgery.

Thankyou. This video is helpful but scary also because my mum had ovarian cancer and I am 55. My flow seems weak sometimes but not other times. Im scared. Have I got cancer?

Congratulations to the UCLH team on the successful early stage prostate cancer trial results using PDT- This trial outcome is historically significant as well as clinically significant. Given the aging demographics and high rates of prostate cancer, this work is extremely relevant to all healthcare systems. Is UCLH ready for a stream of patients coming from North America?
