A fine review. They have some great features, for sure. I like the standard tender, basically a new version of the 2426, which came with the post-war 726 and 773. It is a good looking tender, for sure. A fine review and excellent video, as always.
I hope they make a scale pilot truck available--the small wheels on the pilot truck needed for o54 operation --really detract from the model in my opinion--the numbering on the 5344 isnt quite right --hope they do it just like on the original 700e which is correct for the prototype
Nick that is some nice steam engines but thats a bit high for a 4-6-4 engine the one i have is my UP greyhound hudson and it was around $600-$700 same as the baltimore & ohio and lehigh valley but they all three are the lionchief + 2.0 models i guess that makes a big difference but thanks for showing that catalog anyways its nice you do that buddy and hope your doing well 👍🚂
M1's and berkshires are about the same price and they're not vision line. I'd say its on par with the price of all the other steam of similar size with less features. Also engines with two smoke units always cost more. If you look back at for example the Reading T1 those had 2 smoke units are were expensive also. But then the S2 duplex was massive with 1 smoke unit and it was cheaper then a reading T1 lol Thank you!!
@@PghTrainFanaticOh wow i didnt know there was engines with two smoke units then again im sure my big boy has two of them being smoke goes out both stacks and whistle steam i also have a southern atlantic 4-4-2 with whistle steam but the whistle steam stopped working after the 3rd run not sure why that is?

Already preordered the gray 5330. Can’t wait! Looking forward to the catalogs for 2025 with being the 125th anniversary.
Since Canadian Pacific is my favorite road going with the THB version Hudson. Reason CP'S part ownership with NYC of the THB.
MrMuffins has already listed two potential custom run versions. A New York Central #2727 and a Boston & Albany #618. Pre-order price is $1,655.99.
Nice review Nice. I hope you get one.

So is this going to be a scale Hudson accurate to the real thing or celebrating the 700E Hudson?
I should get $2,000 for my birthday this year if I want to get the 5344 Hudson because I’m a collector of Lionel classics.
