Im 60 now and hadn't camped for 40 years. After my wife died in 2018 I started watching UA-cam, yourself and Camping with Steve, and then in late 2019 I decided to drag myself out of the rut of grief a bit and do some camping..I now have loads of decent equipment and love camping with my little dog that is an ESA dog, Hugo. It is down to you and Steve for me doing this. Thank you Luke.

Luke, I will make a comment that I think all your viewers will agree witih. We all love you and Susie and the videos you make. Kudos and congratulations on getting into GQ Magazine. Not everyone gets that opportunity. Just know you are already a celebrety to all of us. We are here to support you just like you support us with all you do in your videos.
Do television, don't do television, we don't care. We will still be here for you and love you both no matter what. Your videos inspire, educate and inform us on so many things including your unwavering commitment to NEVER sell out to the companies whose products you review. You both have earned our trust and repsect and we love you for it.
I'm glad you gave a shout out about AB Camping and Tony. I am one of his suscribers as well, and I love the adventures he goes on and the fact that he always takes his dog(s), Bruno and Bruce who sadly passed away back in March. Bruce will be missed by everyone in the community.

I'm 61 years old and I've got a bad back and I use to love exploring the woods finding old abandoned house's and old forgotten homesteads and would usually take my horse just me and him and I would pack a fishing rod and my rifle hunt and fish and what ever I cought or killed is what I ate I would spend about 2 weeks alone living off the land of course I carried coffee and bacon and eggs for breakfast I know I'm rambling but anyway watching your videos takes me back to a better time and place thanks for that.

Luke, you hit the nail on the head. Suzie’s solo videos are always awesome. The two recent ones while you were in Florida were top notch. We all watch Suzie because we love her. Without talking down to the women who film nearly nude, even in snow. To me, that shows Suzie doesn’t need to rely on near nudity or gimmicks.

I’ve had my rescue doggie for 10 years. Al these years later & he STILL does not trust very easily, especially males. 10 years of never having had a hand laid on him & still he is scared of others. Scoot gives the best unconditional love. As soon as I get home from work follows me EVERYWHERE. There are times when he has an accident & I use a stern voice to tell him he is a bad boy. He hides under my bed for a few hours. So 10 years later & never having been physically corrected he STILL has moments of trust issue even with me. Glad you had a happy end to your thanksgiving day. Thanks for the video Luke. As always stay safe friend. ❤

I appreciate you and your channel Luke. Your channel was one of the first I came upon when I started viewing channels on UA-cam and I thought what a nice thing to do for people - reviewing products for others, sharing you knowledge and all the beautiful scenery! You know that song "You make me feel like dancing" by Leo Sayer? Well (sung in the same fashion) - You make me feel like camping! I just finished hearing about the dog going missing on Thanksgiving. I'm so glad to hear that it was found just fine. I worked at an animal shelter for 16 yrs. Food for thought if I may: I would encourage taking time with her with reassurance that she's safe and loved, talk to her with a kind soft even voice, Huskies or Husky mixes need a large place and room to run, they are a high energy dog, great dog for a runner/jogger, very intelligent dog and easy to train - love mental stimulation, patient with kids, loyal. Most traits you can find online and this dog is obviously mixed I'd say with Lab and maybe Shepherd both having very good qualities. She's a beautiful dog! Give her lots of unconditional love as that is what they give us. Oh, it is my opinion for a dog like this size might do better with a harness in lieu of a leash 🦮

Man Luke, the first thing I would have put up was my tarp. As you know a nice covered and protected area for the sake of the coffee breaks and chow is heaven. The tent under the tarp would be even more of a plus, but that is just me. Even in my younger years when I could roam around in the woods I gave myself that luxury of being dry at a minimum and then warm if possible. I wish I was able to still do my Daniel Boone imitation of exploring the wilderness. Now-a-days it is done watching your videos mainly, along with some others as you all do your thing in the outdoors. (EDIT) LOL! No sooner do I type the above, you fashion a shelter for the coffee. Back to the program.

There's a woman from South Korea that also does camping & her channel is Rirang OnAir. She's not like the others that flaunt themselves. Very down to earth, but you do have to put on the cc because she speaks Korean on her channel. She's like you - always positive & very down to earth & thinks quick on her feet if something goes wrong or she forgets something. Nothing gets her down. Massive following as well. Doesn't do reviews, just brings you along on her camping trips which is in South Korea or some other country. Different, but fun.

Hi Luke. I've been watching for just a couple of months and I gotta tell ya, this one really made an impact. The extreme weather was one thing and the story about your son's dog was amazing. You could actually see a transformation in the dog's demeanor when he came back where you see such joy and comfort in his face, it was very touching. It was actually your talk about no excuses that got to me. I know there is alot more to me as an individual than what I am doing now and I am going to do it. It really hit home with what you said. Thank you for that.🙏🏼

Sometimes making videos can be such a chore, that what you loved 7 years ago becomes a drag. Keep your optimism alive by going out and having a fun time with Susie and leave the cameras at home. Or just take one for photos.
Sorry that your Thanksgiving was turned upside down. I’ve had several that turned out that way. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. But, it happens. Love of family is paramount.
Thank you for the great videos over the years. I’ve been binge watching since I discovered your channel. And it’s your enthusiasm for what you love and your ability to teach and pass on knowledge that keeps me coming back. Don’t let anything get in the way of your enthusiasm.

i think the reason you've been asked to do so much and why people watch so many of your videos can be explained by 2 main things.
    1) you're straight to the point and give plenty of details and examples of why you feel the way you do, in real time.
    2) you cover everything that (at least I) care about without beating a dead horse for 10 minutes while there's plenty of other important issues to cover.
it might surprise you how many people can't do both of these 2 things.

I remember one time back in the 80's, in the Marine Corps. My sleeping bag had gotten frozen shut because of head in the sleeping bag, coarse it was about 35(f) degrees below zero. Loved the weather, first time in that cold of temperatures. Thanks Norway for the weather and the northern lights it was fantastic op!!!

That portable kettle is amazing, always enjoy the making of a hot beverage when temp is dropping. Thanks.

Yes, Susie was great. Being a female myself I never want to hear any animal howling outside my house much less my tent. 😊stay safe.

I love the watch, but didn't expect it to be over $500. I want one, lol. Seriously though, thanks for your videos Luke and your attention to your viewers. I've messaged you multiple times and always get a response. You're awesome and deserve an awesome future.

Nice! Reminds me of back in the day: a Simpson's episode with Santa's Little Helper, Bart's dog.

Maybe it would be worth getting one of those tiny rechargeable pumps to use to inflate your mattress and pillow in order to keep the moisture out. Or even a stuff sack inflator. Thanks for the awesome videos!

And we have a runner… glad the little guy came back. Smart dog to find his way back in completely strange surroundings. Brave too for giving it a shot.

Hey Luke, welcome back! Glad to hear Susie will keep up the solos, as you said, she nailed it. It doesn't take skin to win!
One request I have for you - I would love for you to do a quick series for the preppers, with three kits in mind.
    1. Mini altoids tin style survival kit.
    2. Bug out/get home bag.
    3. INCH "I'm never coming home" bag.
There are thousands of videos on these topics and I've seen them all, but I would love to have your perspective on these concepts.
You have so much experience, and such a practical, down to earth approach, it would be really great to see what gear and skills you'd consider essential for these kits.
