      Bilal Khan taking physics without maths will always require a bit more time to get concepts, you will have to make sure your maths skills are always up too par

    so this is a very late comment but hold up... isn't the formula of cos supposed to be perpendicular/base and cos^-1 being base/perpendicular

    • @TheTemporaryLasters
      @TheTemporaryLasters Рік тому

      No it is CAH, so Adjacent to the angle/ Hypotenuse of the triangle. But this only applies to right angled triangles. For any other angle, you might need to use the unit circle or cosine rule which is a^2 = b^2 +c^2 -- 2*b*c * cos a

    How do you know which angle should be the resultant’s angle? There are two unknown angles so?

    • @carultch
      @carultch 2 роки тому

      You pick one of the coordinate axes, and state the coordinate axis with the direction of the angle for context. For instance, you wouldn't just answer 20 degrees, you would answer 20 degrees East of North.

    In Ocr a do we need to know how to add non perpendicular vectors?

  • @mariehill6547

    Just a question, what is the difference between deceleration and decreasing acceleration?

    • @PhysicsOnline
      @PhysicsOnline  6 років тому +3

      Deceleration is a negative acceleration. You could have a decreasing acceleration, maybe from +5 to +2. The magnitude would be getting smaller, but it would still be a positive value.
