Yknow I think devs would understand tank’s problem if they imagined taking away one player from any other role. Like if there was 1 support going into 5v5, the problem would be obvious that there would be immense pressure to heal the team, you’d take the blame for every loss, you’d feel responsible for every outcome of the fight, and no one would want to play the role. That’s what’s happening with tank
Exactly, they keep looking at the problem from the wrong angle, treating the tank role as something special instead of looking at them as they should look at every other character

Had a Mauga who went from 0 to 100 just off of his overdrive. I was playing Ana when this happened, so I went “holy shit… that’s not right.”
I hate this abillity so damn much, im a warframe player, this shit feels more mind numbing than gloom, its getting to point were im comparing these braindead ass powers to press 4 to win the video game, this shit does not belong in a pvp game, if they were gonna do this they should have focused on pve
We were celebrating my friend's birthday with an Overwatch session (we haven't played in months) and this was the single worst gaming session I had in my life, the game doesn't feel good simply isn't fun anymore and cheesy af.

winning or not lol. & i presume they were QPs as well, which is sweatier than comp 99% of the time. the game is designed to handhold. it's anti-fun.
As a chronic overwatch player I can confirm the game went to shit since season 9 with the health buffs. It's genuinely boring, I just get on to pop off or to ruin someone's day
@@soviexe yeah I agree but in overwatch you can rarely have games where you can just chill and play, it always has been one of those games which is more competitive than your average fps.

Just had a plat dude in my Deathmatch yesterday, stating this will be the best patch since S5. I couldn't keep quite because I thought he was trolling or sarcastic.
He ended up flaming me, and say every T500 will upload videos of how good this patch is amd how it saved Overwatch.
I love that this patch is so bad, every single content creator had to put up a video of how bad it is.
The dude blocked me today, as I just wrote him "Ahahahahaha". This shouldn't feel as good as it does.

Before this patch I made a joke that they would end up doing 4v4 with each team having a raid boss like we did in the "Battle of the Beasts" event game mode.... I didn't think Blizzard would hear it and take it seriously....

When the game was balanced, you had way less toxicity. People are just annoyed by the delusional devs and let that anger out on other players, because in the forums they ban everyone that is critical and call it "hate".

Yeah dps is miserable to play now. Also DVA is AIDS if you play any DPS. She will kill you in 2 seconds flat and she's almost impossible to escape. Idk I feel so much weaker.
@@YoWasupImADude-xv6hi i dont play solo queue as dps anymore, at least not comp, i have a friend thats a main tank and when i wanna go ranked we always duo, i either go sup or dps, this way we managed quite a few wins, but it is now impossible to hard carry in any other role than tank
@@GStefanes_ Only character I can still carry with is tracer. But that's still relying on my tank at least going even. If they're diffed it's always gg. Fucking stupid devs making tanks so strong. Game feels way less fun than it used to before this patch.

Playing dps right now is the most miserable experience, counterswapping is worse, and supports are even stronger, and everyone will just tell you to kill supports first. Surely it’s easy when tank is extremely oppressive and supports have some of the best utility in the game

I always hated this game for raid boss tanks, and got back to it once they added dps passive and the game became so much more enjoyable. And now they made it even worse then before. You either sweat playing fucking boring af tank role or you are basically a decoration that tries to hide from tank
Because of cry baby tank mains and flats audience crying that tanks are so weak. It’s not the devs it’s the freaking players. I wish the player base would take some responsibility when they ask for things and once they see it on game it doesn’t make sense. They should have never been crying about tanks being weak and we wouldn’t be here/

Its not even like devs ever listen to the public outcry, they only buffed tanks because no one is gonna play that boring role. And since they dont know how to make tank fun they want to make it giga busted to that the game lasts for at least one last year before hitting 10min q times

Ans miserable they still are, cause 5v5 rock paper scissors + meta trio of boredom orisa/hog/mauga makes it the worst fucking role to enjoy. Instead of balancing tank matchups or trying to bring back old 6v6 format devs decides to giga buff tanks hoping that it will somehow fix the problem. Which it wont.
Tank was an overtuned miserable role and now its an OP miserable role thanks to retarded patchnotes. I dont know how tf a random streamer or the entire playerbase is responsible for that patch. Your "you are all to blame I told you, I am the only one who was right" attitude is fucking disgusting.
If you can’t choose between support and DPS, just pick Tank and be all three!

Yea I uninstalled last night. Played a game were a guy was 0 and 7 on hog, swapped to mauga, and became 25 and 7 and reverse swept the game. The entire time he was typing slurs and stroking his ego about how "good" he was at mauga. I was a masters rein one trick at one point, and am now convinced I could be top 500 in 2 weeks if I one tricked mauga with no effort at all. This is the worst state I have ever seen the game in, and it really goes to show that blizzard developers have no interest in listening to their community and also have absolutely no idea what they are doing from a balance perspective.
Masters tank is the modern day low gm, don't beat yourself up about it.
And in my last game not long ago hog went 22-1. It happens. Doubt its really a patch thing.

Where the hell is the overwatch global competitive scene? They should make a tournament system where anyone can participate in so the game actually has a value/every day reason to play.. everyone loves tournaments

Tracer was already nerfed heavily with the 5 dmg reduction. Relatively speaking she is more viable now than other DPS that are now under the 10 dmg reduction threshold after this patch

@@trxpmetal I've been having to focus on the squishies more which means I have to push my aim more to win more games because lucio's damage to tanks got nerfed to the ground. It doesn't help that most support players I get in my games are the players that play mercy, kiriko, and moira that have no aim.

I already deleted the game like 3 months ago.. no anti cheat system no anti smurf system (idc care if i get smurf like once every 4 games but not every two games) no balance in hero (i have 2k hours in genji and I’m struggling and i played pharah in the first time in my life and i easily win 6 games in streak.. the game is just not worth ur time play val or LOL or even fortnite

Honestly. I wouldn’t go as far as saying this update is killing overwatch. I’ve played every role in overwatch and I’ve played since the game came out. While this update has its flaws. You can clearly see the devs are trying to make the tank role. A one man role. By giving tanks more of an edge. However how they chose to do that with some of the heroes is a little broken. But what’s one week of broken tanks when we all know they’ll all get nerfed the following week

I've played nothing but tank today, and WOW... Anyone who isn't playing tank is going to have a miserable time with this game.
The devs are going to die on the 5v5 hill, and thats fine but they dont know how to fix its issues, and now with these changes to tank, 6v6 is never coming back unless they revert them. I think tank was fine before but the meta was horrible, but blizzard hates changing and fixing issues, and loves changing the power of a character. this really is the worst patch in what feels like gaming history.
Bro i uninstalled because of the bs ranked system i went from diamond 2 to plat 5 pharah. I work 12 hours a week id q one comp a day and still lost every game. So them nerfing cree and nothing to pharah made me not regret uninstalling. I been playing val csgo rouge company paladins Im having fun again. Just uninstall this shit game you’ll have fun again supervive looks promising most fun I had in years

As a person who’s always gotten stuck on tanks and hating it I’ve actually been enjoying playing tank sense the patch and I actually get to play dps sometimes so that’s been nice tanks feel tanky and can actually get a few kills but can still be killed with some focus except dva and zarya and a good reign with heavy helas does okay sometimes but otherwise it’s been fine

Lol what is the point when other roles are useless right now, current tanks have 1.5x more damage than dps, simply unkillable with buffed armor.

So getting raped by tanks and rat spam for the last 10 games, i could derank all the way to bronze 5 if I kept at it. Tanks ARE unkillable in lower ranks, especially when there's 99% of the time a rat spamming like a mfker thru shields and actual tank bodies. Im willing to uninstall this garbage.

I see the complaints most people have with the patch, but in a way it’s a good move. It makes the frontline more aggressive and stamina for tanks helps move the line. I believe most of the complaints are simply out of boredom.
No, the complaints are mostly from the fact that tanks are the only ones that get to have fun now.

the patch was bad agreed but you got rolled on ram into REIN and then played mauga and smoked. mauga was broken before and after the patch so its just the normal mauga experience, just nerf the mauga hog orisa shitshow heros and the game is fine dare i say even with some of the tank buffs this patch still added

Who we ? I personally dropped that game immediately as Season 9 came out (my friends even earlier), cuz you don't need to be a bloody Top500 to understand the disaster in making with that changes.
I predicted that things will go worse since then but couldn't even imagine that devs will go bonkers. Stop playing that game and just watch how it's dying. Maybe then and only then something reminiscing of the brain will start to appear in the heads of devs

Most of them are complaining about their own skill issues or things that are just a byproxy of the role like “oh but everyone shoots at us wahhh” you’re a tank… you have a huge hitbox… yes people are gonna hit you more. Or supports complaining that they always get killed first when it’s a fundamental strategy of the game to kill the healer first. I was perfectly happy playing tank before. It’s just uncanny to watch them now claim they never asked for this when I can send them an arsenal of UA-cam videos full of comment sections with them crying that tanks were too weak. They always find a way to blame the devs but honestly the only thing I blame these devs for is trying so hard to cater and pander to this overly emotional community. They harvested a very whiny audience and now they can’t please it. Other games don’t do this at all. They balance around statistics, not player demands. I love playing dps too I just hate playing against pharrah lol so it’s not even a tank im having issues with lol This has been going on since ow1 and people complained tanks were too boring and didn’t do enough damage and double shields such and blah blah blah so they got rid of a second tank and now here we are with people begging for 6v6 even tho it will not make them happy. I actually hope they do change it back (because I will simply adapt) so that everyone can see that the tank mains will still be complaining no matter what you give them.
