In today's video I reacted to my first ever Filipino music video and oemgee I was NOT READY for the waterworks lol someone please gimme some tissues 😭 I have never really watched / listened to any Filipino songs before but this song really blew me away - I'm definitely going to be on the search for more Filipino songs. For us filipinos it is so easy to relate to them cause we know the issues surrounding them and the cause of the breakup, that's why every line really cuts deep cause it all makes sense, example, the reason why Josh said "I wasn't able to protect you" what he meant there was when wayback in 2019 when the issue of the girl(Julia) cheating surfaced in the news, Joshua wasn't able to be there with her and protect her from all the bashing and all the insult thrown at her by the fans and people in social media. Josh really regret not being there with Julia, but can you blame him though? he was also hurting and in pain, he just got cheated on, it's all over the news, maybe he is also sulking that's why he can't face Julia. such a sad story, They were just a simple couple back then and full of love, but it ended in tragic =(

Julia and Josh never had any formal closure. It was only thru this music video that they talked things over and said goodbye to their relationship as lovers. This is semi scripted, I mean when they're riding a motorcycle yeah that's scripted but when they talk face to face is not what they are saying are true and not scripted. 😁
According to the actor who played as the Priest, when they are going to shoot the last scene which is the girl apologizing the director ask almost all of the crew to go outside the venue leaving only the Director, the two actors and camera men, the director instructed the two just say whatever they want to each other genuinely since they didn't have any proper closure in real life when they broke up. There's no script to be memorized there and all of the lines was adlibs. I think the reason why this hits hard is because we can feel the pain of these two, they are not acting, they are broadcasting their own life using the music video

for those who didn’t know, they are ex lovers in real life. they actually broke up a year ago.. and the girl (julia) fell in love with another man. the writer and singer of the song is their friend, so this video was actually made for their closure after the break up. the dialouge, was written by them, instead of a wedding vow, it became sort of a break up/closure message for each other. this was release valentines day last year.
im from philippines yes its true real video are together Joshlia is a real life in a relationship but now they breakup bcoz julia with another guy and Joshua is a single . but just friend of Joshlia in the end .
