Nice to see Haley Stiltner playing some of her driving banjo! I first heard her (online) filling in on banjo with Lou Reid and Carolina and she "killed it"!
Is Haley a true slick sleeve First Class? I just found the answer to my question. She joined the band after boot camp in 2017 and was given the rank of First Class Musician. Wow! You go, Haley!
MU's are the TRUE MUSICIANS! They also read, and that is something that most recording artists can not do! These shipmates are tighter than a fat lady's belt!
Whoever is on the video switcher needs to listen to the parts. Close-ups on a Banjo while the guitar is soloing doesn't really help etc... Saw this a few times on this video. These musicians are the world's best and deserve the best.
Camera man has no idea who or what a dobro is. Focused on the banjo the whole time during the dobro players solo. Oh well. He ain't the first professional videographer to not have a clue about what bluegrass instruments sound like.
