@jktacklellc I'm using mostly the Iwata Custom Micron. I was doing fine detail work with the .18 which will show defect if you just tap it with the cap. Drives me batty. Which turns out to be a shorter "drive" than I originally thought. Oh well. Lure making is my next adventure. Fingers crossed
Bubbles could also mean you bent your needle.

@@jktacklellc excellent! It bothers me when I bump a needle without knowing it. Then I have an expensive paint mixer in my hand.
I’ve bent a few and yes… it feels like pouring gold down the tube!

Most of my lure work is .5 & I use a Patriot. Makes life a little easier when using that gauge.
