Your style and efficiency of movement makes you one of the most watchable foilers on UA-cam. If I can get to a fraction of your skill I will be one happy guy. More clips.
Least someone is getting use of those flat sections down the peak as it's been weird since storms ! This is the future and line ups w be full of these, keep ripping Eric! 🙏
This fear seems to have two sources. The primary source is that longboarders are realizing they are being replaced by a younger, more virile population that is having far more fun. They apprehend that foiling well is probably harder than noseriding and that it would be easier to push the narrative that foilers are kooks than to learn. The secondary source of fear is a misunderstanding of physics and foil design. Getting “axed” by the (round, not very sharp) leading edge of the foil or mast will cause the (btw insanely light) foil board to instantly roll forward, greatly dissipating the impact the foil has on the person that was in the way. Lever arms. Absolutely not a fun time, and this effect could create a second impact, but it is a reasonable hypothesis that a 10 foot heavily glassed longboard to the head would be far more deadly. On the other hand, the foil does enable disrespectful and dangerous behavior because of the speed and wave linking. So there is an awareness that is rightfully demanded of the foiler until the extinction of the longboard. I’m being facetious and longboarding is a beautiful pastime. But if your blood pressure rose while reading this, consider that it just may have been too close to the truth for you to handle.
@@danpitbladdo3555 Yeah people are funny about this! All good though, something out there for everyone! Just ride have fun, Do you, Stay safe, Shakkas 🤙🏻
Do you charge surfers who crash into other surfers for days of missed work and surfing because I haven't seen a foil accident yet. Plenty of long boarders rolling over people though. Its not just your ocean.
