IPS D. Sivanandhan has been a former Maharashtra DGP who was once the Chief of the Mumbai Crime Branch in the late 90s. During his tenure, 238 gangsters from several gangs, including, Chhota Rajan, and the Abu Salem gang, were killed in the encounter. He is someone who is known for destroying the Mumbai underworld on the basis of his insane leadership abilities.

Kaise mountains ka naam hi hindu rush pad gya aur afganistan ke pahado ki mitti laal ho gayi. Kaise lasho se ek poori mountain range ban gyi.

I watched everything on Tv I still remember the day and my Mama was in Boribali in Mumbai and we were literally afraid because suddenly it felt like all Mumbai was under a siege.

If only our police personnel had at least a sidearm for themself to defend ,things could've been a lot different. The will was there, the Patriotism was there, not to mention the bravery,in every personnel killed. it was just that most died fighting AKs with their lathi or a rifle that was older than the nation. Proper Gear could've made a great difference. R. I. P the BRAVEs.
