This is one of my All Time Favorite Rides! Enjoy the scenery
Also, it's hard to tell from the video but we're doing speeds btw 20-23 mph for the majority of the ride.
✔️👍
No wonder my legs are killing me!

What a cool trail. I wish they would repurpose more defunct train tracks into trails
We agree! It's a great use for these old RR easements. Thanks for watching.
Loved the ride and music. 30 minutes went by so fast!
Hi Kylie, with all of the natural beauty out on the trail the time just melted away for us too.
I agree, it's an amazing bike ride. 👍🙂
Thanks for watching! We just did another section of the trail today so stay tuned.
@@AmazingBikeRides looking forward 🙂
Thanks for the view...riding through that pine forest is spectacular. Added to the bucket list of rides.
You're welcome!
The "Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes" is great ride and 73 miles long!
Enjoy fantastic views of tall pines and blue lakes on this fast-paced rail trail bike ride on the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes
This is part one so stay tuned for more virtual bike ride videos of this trail.
Wow! That really was an Amazing Ride. You can’t beat a dedicated paved bike path through a forest along a coast. I plugged in Plummer, ID to Harrison, ID in Google Maps & selected bike as the mode of transportation & was able to follow your route (16 miles). That bridge was pretty spectacular too! The route ends at the Cycle Haus Bikes and Brew. Can a bike ride get any better than that? I live in Southern California, and I want to go to Idaho just to ride that trail. Truly an inspirational ride. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Robert, This trail is just spectacular and the 18+ miles of it that we did (in one direction) is only small segment of the whole 73 mile Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes.
As for coming to ride the trail, if you come at the right time of the year, when it's not too cold or not too hot then I can't imagine you could be disappointed.
By the way, starting with this ride we have added a link in the description that will take you to Strava where you can see the whole ride with elevation & speed.
@@AmazingBikeRides Hi Liz! It looked like you picked a good time to do that ride. The weather looked great! At first glance, I didn’t notice the Strava link, but I checked it out later. It’s a nice addition. Thanks for including more information about your ride.
Thank you for another awesome ride! Your videos are my absolute favorites.
❤️🤩
Thanks Karen ❤️
Thank you
You're welcome Wanda! Thanks for watching
This is great find. Thanks for sharing. We have plans to visit this area and I’m putting this on our list of things to do. 👍❤️
Hi Kristy, I think you'll love it. The Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes is 73 miles long so what you saw in this video is only a small part of it.
There's another ride in the area that you might want to look into doing while you're here it's called the "Route of the Hiawatha".
Hey Paul, you should head to Minnesota sometime. There are rail lines that have been paved over with asphalt. My favs are the heartland trail, Paul Bunyan trail, and the Mesabi trail. The trails are mostly lined with tall trees, so you’ll be riding in the shade. Small towns along the way with bed and breakfasts if you want to do a multi-day trip.
Must do! Thanks for the tip, Kevin!
Hi
Is there a timer on this ride ?
Was this section 18 miles?! or 37.5 miles?!
We didn't quite make it to the turn around so it was probably more like 16 miles.
@@AmazingBikeRides OMG - I rode 16 miles!!!! - This was just my 4th day riding. - This trail is going in my saved box. - Thanks
Excellent Job Shirley 👍
