I actually did better without the 'slideshow' technique. Just tried to follow the pattern on time, it took me few tries but since i got the cheescake it bacame much easier. it does have a pattern, a very quick one but still a pattern. For me slowing things down confused me and i constantly forgot, so if u have severe adhd like me try make a rythem to it and make a beat to fit its pattern so as long as u tap your foot in a constant beat this became a piece of cake
I'm having so much trouble finding the thing. i triggered the quest but couldn't find it and now I'm back on the water trying to find it again with no luck.
around the island with the two mountainous protrusions, the fish will be yellow with a yellow ring around it and it pulses, but yeah, its troublesome to actually get.
Oh my god! THANK YOU!!! I have looked at so many reddit threads to try and catch this damn fish! I have all the other fish even the Pink Jade Gar and Regal Araipamon. No one else has pointed out that you need to look for a LARGE BLUE dot. Or explained the pause trick effectively. I still need to catch the damn thing, but at least now it no longer feels like a myth!

This is almost like the ff7 rebirth boxing match.....for those who have normal reflexes, we need to make use of this PAUSE method. Some of those Japanese programmes are as usual evil perverts by nature .... Games nowadays are NOT as enjoyable anymore... Games are supposed to be challenging BUT it needs to be realistically hard too and ENJOYABLE
