Great stuff Jason! As I've mentioned before I use GR Research cables which seem to have the same basic design philosophy with the multi-strand open construction. Looking forward to the next videos on Inakustik.
Quality copper or silver. My cables use OCC7N copper and the umbilical’s on my amp uses OCC5N solid silver, the difference in the quality of the sound over my cables I used years ago is night and day. Thanks for another excellent video Jason can’t wait for the next part.
Hands down the best cable's on the market. I've had them up against everything avaliable to me. Not even close. And the build quality is insane high. Even at the lower tier ❤
High up on my list to buy the coming months. Am thinking the AC-4004 for the Meridian DSP9 (thanks for that video too) and AC-2404 DAC and Streamer. Will be looking at the BACCH later on the year. I do appreciate your videos (in short you are influencing/confirming my buying decisions), your work, thank you
Glad to help. I'm actually working on group buy discounts for members of my channel, but either way if you need a dealer in your area, just send me an email. I know the distributor and can hook you up with a dealer when you're ready to buy.
Awesome info Jason. I'm at the point where I'm looking at cables for my main system. I had seen these from you and some others and for once see a cable company doing things right. Air dielectric is the best you can do and I'd bet their measurements are great too. Do you know where to buy them in the US?
I talked about doing that in my membership group, but someone said Jay Iyagi did that. What cables do you want blind tested? Lengths? I think high capacitance cables between a passive preamp and poor input impedance amp would be easier to tell versus other equipment, so that's another variable to consider. I'll have music clip comparisons in this video series and I think it might be surprising to hear what was subtle or hard to tell versus what was more obvious.
The designers often carefully select the internal cables and connection methods (point to point wiring and/or circuit boards are just one example). However, they can't dictate what everyone does outside the chassis...plus the demands outside the chassis are different in terms of lengths and connection methods. Thus, it's become a bigger minefield of snake oil, poor construction or high quality construction...all of which price often doesn't guarantee much.
They make their own in-house and sell them as well without a connector if you want to use your own. The North American distributor puts Oyaide connectors on many like you see in the video. The connector itself is less important to me than how it's attached to the wire. That's where you often see failures and less optimal connections.
How do you decide on what audiophile cable to buy? Share your highest priorities
Easy one. I tend to spend 10% of the total system cost at max. Preferably 5%.
That's a good general guideline.

Look forward to this series. Thank you.
My pleasure!

Looking forward to this one Jason.

Couldn't agree more!

Kimber varistrand exceptional quality 😊
Kimber did a cool A/B test at Axpona if you didn't see that video.

Thanks!
Thank you for the support 🙏
I have a complete array of Nordost cables and are the best for me
Still waiting for the video where people can tell which cable is being used without seeing the cables being used

Any cables I'm not picky
Why don't people change the cables inside their equipment ? Maybe because it is a lot harder so lets just ignore what we can't normally see ;)

Unfortunately they use cheap connectors(not the top model that better be for that price).

Hilarious
