Agreed! I was blown away by Brokeback Mountain but that film was more dramatic and symbolic and I am sure Ang Lee's style made it so. This film was so understated (almost the opposite of Brokeback) and a bit like a documentary. I moved to London when I was 18 in 1978 so I felt close to the characters and identified with them. The actors were brilliant and yes, I cried at the end too. Tom Cullen is amazing.
just experienced an incident like in this film. we met for 3 days then he had to go back to his city. we enjoyed those nights, talking about anything, exploring each other's bodies. I visit this song again for 2 days left and now, I am crying so loud 😭😭😭

I always want to see them together, but most gay films like Frieu Fall. They always have sad endings. A wonderfall movie, if you have not seen it I recommend it.

Both actors are excellent.Tom's more commercial but talented and gorgeous man. John New u could see his experience. Its sad they didn't went for weekend 2 considering it was global hit. Perhaps they know better.

Such an accurate portrayal of how most gay relationships roll~mostly~very temporary. In my experience, being gay has not been an easy path to follow~and like many gay men~You can eventually find yourself alone.
