Back in the early 80s, when Atari released Pac-Man for the 2600, my dad had to drive all the way across Houston to the Sears store at Greens point to get a copy as it was sold out everywhere else. I was super happy until I got home and played it. Never went back to that mall again.

This is really good footage a of what is likely the last year of Greenspoint mall.
This mall really deteriorated fast. I remember watching a facebook live of a news anchor walking around in the mall in 2020 and it was in okay shape back then.

From was once a nice, clean, & popular shopping destination to an abandoned building. I'm sure they're going to demolish it like they did the San Jacinto Mall over in Baytown, TX.

Damn I used to do that at least once a month wake up 5am roll up a blunt hop in my 98 Buick Regal gs supercharge on 20 inch blades and cop a new pair of jays holla at females . Man so many memories! Georgeios was the spot for clothes or Urban Legends. Music Depot next to the Foleys across from the star shots where all the fine girls would go take their glamorous shots! So many great memories! End of a great time . I’m officially old lol!

I don’t believe it’s in tact anymore. I’m pretty sure that entire section of the building was demolished but I’m not sure. There was a large area covered by drywall but I didn’t realize the possibility that it could be back there at the time.
