It doesn’t seem like a single person was worried about where these criminals were, what they were going to do next, nothing like that. Miss Cindy, I realize that my comment to you is the complete opposite of this Double Murder Trial, but here goes: In October of 1963 my mother’s younger brother Tommy who lived 3 blocks from my mother, father and my 3 older siblings. My mother was pregnant with me and I was born 3 months later in January of 1964. Anyway, Tommy had made sure that his daughter, who was in elementary school, left to go to school, then Tommy taped a note warning whoever read it, to not allow his little daughter come inside after school let out, then Tommy locked every lock in his house, called one of his other sisters, Beverly, and while the two were talking, my aunt heard a loud noise and asked her brother Tommy if he heard the noise also. Tommy told her that he did hear the loud noise, and as calmly as ever, he told her that he had shot himself with his rifle. My aunt while completely hysterical, told Tommy that she was going to call for help and then call him right back, but Tommy begged her to not hang up the phone because he was dying and just wanted her to pray for and with him before died. In the meantime, with my mother, one of Tommy’s other sisters living 3 blocks away, did not know what had happened with Tommy. My father’s supervisor had to track my father’s delivery route and inform him that the police needed him at his brother-in-laws house because they needed a family member to identify Tommy’s body there at his(Tommy’s) house. After that was done, my father went home and my mother was surprised that he was home so early from work. My father walked up to my mother and wrapped her in a hug and told her “Tommy’s gone”. My mother told my father that Tommy was at work but after work he would back home. Knowing that my mother was not understanding what had happened with Tommy, my father, as gently as he could while still hugging her told her “Tommy is dead, he shot himself”.

I believe this man is pained by the loss of his nephew and SIL. But he is woefully ignorant of how he sounds when he describes his family and just a regular family. They tried to paint themselves as that in their interview on tv. They’re not a regular family. They’ve very privileged with both wealth and community “support”. They’re very land rich with multiple homes to go to that are fully stocked with anything they may need. They’ve been largely untouchable in regards to being able to get away with doing what they want.

When you’re wealthy, that’s all you’ve known, and you work hard to maintain that, they don’t think of money/wealth when asked to describe their family and the relationships. They seemed to have unusually good relationships and had the world by the tail for sure. I think they are classy enough not to talk about their money in that way.

Man... Nobody wants to believe someone they love could do something so heinous. The mind is a powerful thing. This man knows that his brother did this, 100%. But some people are capable of completely commiting to a narrative. And some people are very good at playing it out and living it. But deep down, I believe those people know the truth. So they dig their heels in even more and ultimately live the rest of their lives playing a role, and ALMOST even convincing themselves of what they know not to be true. Can't even imagine. People are complicated. And I bet the way these brothers grew up made them very skilled at playing roles and acting out self constructed narratives. 2 lawyers and 1 salesman.

(And certainly was trying to help his brothers case with all his answers.) Even at the end of this video when the state was questioning him about the CFO of Alex's law firm (Jeanine) saying Alex claimed his dad had taken a turn for the worse, which was patently false, John began getting angry that this lawyer was implying Alex lied to Jeanine. And even implied himself it was Jeanine who must have heard Alex wrong. Which has to be one of the most clear cases of denial I've ever seen. Time and again it's been proven Alex is an adept and practiced liar. Even admitting it himself on the stand. And yet his brother refuses to believe that Alex might have been lying on this occasion?? That it's more likely Jeanine heard wrong or is lying herself? Just unreal. I'm sure John is a nice guy, but he's need to open his eyes to reality.

@@plumlazy I can't stand Alex, but no they wouldn't necessarily. I'm very close with my siblings and call daily but once I'm off the phone, they could be doing anything? And if they are a seasoned liar like Alex you would have no reason to doubt them!

I was in my mid 40's before discovering what a chronic liar my brother is. Family members are probably the last to see it.

Gotta give it to these Murdough men. They're extremely charming..( imo) John Marvin seems like a very decent guy
