Staying cool is definitely key in summer. Linen is my go-to favorite summer fabric. Years ago I would have never worn linen because of the wrinkles but now I iron or steam it prior to wear and then just "roll with it" where the wrinkles are concerned. I wear cotton, lyocell, and Tencell also. Very cute dress options shown here. I loved the green one from Talbots.
Me remembering nearly all the bags from the jag collection in *hotdups* other apartment on the dimond tray.. I think i watched that video like 40 times. Purse collection goals
Beth I always love your suggestions for dressing up or down. You always look soooo great with the clothes you wear. You really should consider modeling. You look FABULOUS!!!
I absolutely love wearing linen every summer - yes, it wrinkles like a prune - but it’s expected to. I have three linen pant suits - in navy, white and olive green - and I mix and match lots of tops. You can dress up with heels or dress down with clean sneakers. I get a lot of mileage out of this investment. I also think of sunglasses as a huge part of my outfit. Thanks for always giving us new ideas to try. Much appreciated!
Blazers are my favorite jacket/coverup garment, I love their flattering structure and I’m not much of a cardigan fan. I’ve been building up a full, mostly linen, summer wardrobe capsule over the last few years, including some great linen and unlined cotton blazers. Here at my California location, we have nearly five months of summer weather and linen clothing is essential. A cool, breathable-fabric dress, a light blazer and mid-heeled leather sandals is my go-to summer outfit. Thanks for the video.
Linen is great, but I think in hot, humid weather, silk is better. I also wear tropical wool -- it's lightweight, doesn't wrinkle & it's a breathable fabric that always looks good, feels comfortable & maintains its shape. Tropical wool is more popular in Europe than in the US. I wear it in spring & fall, not just summer, because it lasts for a greater part of the year & can be worn with other natural fabrics: cotton, linen, silk in summer, early fall, late spring; merino wool, gassato cashmere in summer, spring & fall. And of course -- a blazer is a must. I also dress up an evening outfit (skirt, slacks, dress) with a leather jacket, of which I have several in various styles/colors, for a chic & sophisticated look. And, yes belts are a must for my shorts, skirts, dresses, slacks/jeans, jumpsuits.
I really love your taste and style always so chic. My faves would be the *hotdups* leather backpack and the Swarovski pave diamond ring so gorg. Thank you for your recommendations.
I love Quince, too, tor their affordable natural-fiber items. I can’t tolerate synthetics, but natural-fiber fabrics and materials are so expensive nowadays, Quince helps a lot.
I live close to the Mexico border. I always go for *hotdups* , their quality is great. Some of them are made with leather and really hard to tell the difference from real or not. Either way, it’s your choice. No judgement from me
First of all, where did you get your linen button up that you are wearing? The color is amazing on you. I have all of these summer essentials and I agree that linen is the best fabric for those who live in hot climates (Scottsdale, AZ to be exact). In fact, I wore my drawstring navy linen pants this morning on my Saturday run to the grocery store. I don't mind the wrinkles in my linen clothing and I am accepting the wrinkles in my face (age 67). I don't like the idea of having injections in my face, but I admire those that choose to do so. Thanks for your videos, Beth.
Instead of linen, I've been wearing the all cotton gauze-type button ups and pants. Also, Beth, can you suggest or recommend some good bras that won't show your straps when you wear tank tops--more economical to the more high end bras, please.
Love love linen! So many women at the boutique where I work part time won’t wear it because it wrinkles. I tell them it doesn’t matter to me, it’s great in the summer & that’s the look. I tell them they’re limiting themselves in having beautiful summer outfits to wear. 😂
Thanks for letting me know! That dress is so comfy and chic. It also comes in black. The link has been updated. Here it is again: rstyle.me/+x4fo0RsAEsQ3XoYMYQrwSg

I totally agree! The beauty of linen is that we can "just roll" with it.
Thank you Beth...lovely ideas❤
Glad you like them!
Very well styled lady. I enjoy your videos very much!
Thank you so much! I so appreciate you being here!
Great list Beth! You look amazing in all of the photos you showed us. I love white denim with black, very sharp looking.
Thanks, Cathy! I always say black and white is always all right!
Love love linen! I don’t care that it wrinkles. It’s so beautiful to me wear in summer!!
Couldn't agree more! It's beautiful and breathable. A win/win in the summer temps.

I lived in Houston for five years and know how hot it gets! Georgia does, too but we have a much colder winter. Thanks for watching!

Lots of worthwhile information…I hope I can remember it all! I have many of the items but not a straw handbag.
Glad it was helpful!

Linen yes!!! 🎉 I find silk hot to wear and it’s not good with my oily skin!!!

Hi Beth, you never disappoint us, thanks, blessings.
Summer can be challenging when it comes to wardrobe choices, but we can beat the heat in style. Thanks so much for watching!

Vous êtes les bienvenus.
Love linen in hot, humid Texas!
Definitely a go-to in Texas where the heat is hot and the chili is hotter!
Linen is really fun for summer.
My go-to fabric all summer long!
Thank you Beth!!! Cheers
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching!
You look like Princess Diana in that shot in the dark blazer and denim shorts! : ) Linda
What a lovely compliment! Thank you!
Thanks for all your work looking for nice pieces to bring to us😊. Have you encountered any worthwhile seersucker pieces?
Talbots has seersucker. J.Crew too. Have you checked L.L. Bean?

Linen Drawstring pants and shorts are my go-to all summer long! The linen button-up is from Reiss; here is the link: rstyle.me/+Qy5P6fGffkgC52uBO8-4GQ

I love cotton gauze! Such a great choice for summer! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing!! I have never understood why women have a problem with linen. One of the best fabrics that's natural and beats the heat.
What about a seersucker blazer?
Great choice!
What blouse are you wearing in this video. Great summary.
I love linen! What do you use to keep it from wrinkling?
I just let the wrinkles do their thing. But I will give it a steam with my steamer before I put it on.
Beth the red maxi dress is beautiful. I can’t find the link …it was mis marked I think. Thx 🥰
Thanks for letting me know! That dress is so comfy and chic. It also comes in black. The link has been updated. Here it is again: rstyle.me/+x4fo0RsAEsQ3XoYMYQrwSg
Polarized sunglasses are a no- no if you drive a car with the heads up display on the windscreen .At least in my car.
Have you tried Frownies for your 11 lines? I love them - they have erased my 11’s without anything invasive.
I haven't! Thanks so much for sharing! I'll check it out.
Beth is Beth high class ❤
Thanks for modeling shorts. The heat where I leave requires wearing shorts even at my age of 74.
