From the warning card in the area that it was there, I expected the Thing to look pretty tame, when I actually encountered it I was pretty reasonably surprised to find it was a Swine King-Miller hybrid. I also lost my poor, old Champion Vestal Boisivion whom had stuck by me since the beginning, died of a heart attack and my horrible decision-making.
I didn't know that damn thing appeared on the main map at first! Had the misfortune of bumping into it 3x straight. Stressed out all 12 of my heroes (and myself) like crazy!
It must be rare.... lol. Man FUCK, fighting that thing. I can’t understand how they don’t freak out exactly like you did upon looking at it. Seriously WTF.
it is definitely worth it actually. (it gives comet shards which is always nice). (spoiler): he can give unique trinkets that only he can drop and if you are lucky you can get a memory from him to use for buildings. having said that: he is nasty as hell with stress. had to fight him twice with no bleeds or blights.
This boss is worth killing but is too much bullshit in 1 fight, he can heal bleed and blight, he causes an unreasonable amount of stress for a boss that is almost obligatory to fight in a dungeon, has a bunch of turns, and tk top it off he gains 80 FUCKING PROT after half health.
The initial reaction to that Thing was brilliant.

I know, i found out i got really un lucky with my drops.
that i can relate too. got over 10-15 kills with the guy only got 1 trinket
@@Grinkle550 i got 25 gold, 25 shards, and two legandary trinkets droped from the corpses of the two guys he killed
