Itoshi sae is GOATED and the fact that he is so focused on his goal to being the best midfielder just hits me, cause I wanna devote my self to the goals that I want to achieve and itoshi sae is a huge inspiration for that. I love Sae and I mean he isn’t wrong about Japanese football teams. Like year they went far this year but they do believe in the “the team” and most strikers have to be selfish players to get the goals. I also think he changed his goal for his brother but that is a whole other story

Idk what happened when he first started playing outside japan, but he threw away his goal of being a striker, and returned with a mindset kind of like kunigami after wild card. Sure, may fit in a lot better as a mf than striker, but people also said that about isagi, yet isagi just never gave up. I know he might not have given his all against bluelock in the u-20 match, but he still lost, despite having amazing teammates. Even if he has metavision, wich to me it seems like he didnt use in the u-20 match(if he even has it), then so does kaiser and isagi, and possibly a lot more people. To me he seems delusional. He doesnt acknowledge other people and their skills. Compared to the world top 5 we saw against the bluelock players, i feel like he isnt even close to their level(yes i know they are strikers, and hes mf) I never really saw anything great in sae, and he just dissapointed me overall. I also never like his character, nor personality. But thats just my opinion.(i could keep on going lol)
