I cried when she died in both series and I don't hate her for what she is in the series, she just came and that's it.
I did feel a little bad for her here because that death looked painful and there was a tiny hint of redemption that could have equal maybe sacrificing herself for the others but that chance didn’t happen.

Yeah, when she went to apologize I thought that would be the shift from enemies to friends/possibly lovers. But then she became extra nasty in that interaction instead lol. The actress is really good.
She needs to have a main role. I don't know why an actress as skilled as her does not have a protagonist role yet.

If Na-Yeon opened the door early, there would be a possibility that she wouldn't be a zombie. If she's really apologetic to Gyeong-su that time, she should've not mind what the squad said about her. Everything that we do have its consequences. For Na-Yeon, the consequences of killing Gyeong-su is to face Gyeong-su's friends' judgement. It's not that easy to forgive someone especially when the person you love the most is involved. If she just opened the door and gave them the food, they would be atleast grateful for it and helped her escape as well.

NGL i hated Na Yeon's death because of how pointless it was, i think it would've been better if she would've gotten the food and made it to the roof, but before she could give the others the food, she would just yeeted of the roof by Gwi-Nam at the last second, i think THAT would've been better instead of killing her for no reason

i do not hate the teacher. she stopped her students from running after na yeon. but at the same time she probably felt guilty for letting one of her student get murdered and let the other student become a murderer. she ran after na yeon. because she was stillher teacher and wanted to give her a 2nd chance. not because she pitied na yeon
the teacher actually did really good, ms park was one of my favorite characters even though being a side character, she displayed wisdom and helped them, she sacrificed herself so she could teach na-yeon to make up her actions and help them, i feel bad for both of them, ji-min on the other hand left and fleed the scene when the pink vest (i forget her name) fell, ji-min also pretty much hated like everyone besides on-jo and kinda rude

People really calling her character a psychopath like, don't you see she had remorse and risked her life (and lost it) to get food not for her but for everyone. Yes, her actions killed other people in past episodes but her character is a sheltered kid not a psychopath, she was coming to terms with her actions and the harsh reality. Deservance really is an ugly thing to talk about, she didn't die cause she deserved it, she just sadly f*cked up.
yes ,she realised too late. they were with her for 48 hrs before that they even kicked doors but she locked herself up, couldnt say sorry. they were so hungry that all their energy was over, you know what happened to that class 2nd topper guy in sports room his energy hungry made him depressed which led him took bad decision. they could survive with pee and poop ways but not food and water. ofcourse later rain only feed them water not food!

Lee Nayeon's death is the scene that saddens me the most. I really hoped that at first she could survive until the end, but apparently not… I hope Nayeon will be back in season 2

Her remarks would make me frustrated and annoyed.
When she killed him:
I could not believe that she could kill someone. So she won't have to admit she was wrong.
When she left the group:
I was glad that the teacher followed after her. An-Yeon was wrong, but maybe in such heavy circumstances, some people lose their sanity. That doesn't mean that she's not at fault. She's 100% guilty; her ugly side won over her good side in her decision.
When she was in the storage room:
It seemed she finally became sane, and her guilt overwhelmed her. That’s why she didn’t dare to open the door; she could not face them. I began to empathize with her; I felt sorry for her.
When she gathered food for the group:
She was safe in that storage room, but she decided to put her life at risk to feed the hungered group. She was ashamed of her actions, she was worried about how she was going to be treated, but until that point, she decided to face them no matter the outcome. I was doubtful of how they would receive her, too; after all, she did murder. I’m a sucker for character development because they feel real. So, I was hopeful, and I cheered for her.
When she got killed:
I was shocked, but I still thought she would pop up any second and meet the group. That never happened. Truthfully, I could not accept the way she died. They could have done so much more with her character. I pity her; If the zombies had never happened, she would have lived an everyday life without committing such an awful act. I believe she would have grown to be a better person due to trial and error from our daily life struggles. Even marry and give birth to a little girl :)

I think her ending is telling us that, "you won't get many chances" she was given the chance to change when they were sitting outside that room, but she didn't take the chance and when she finaly had the courage, she died. Therefor u should take the chance u get before its too late.

a better ending for her would be na yeon helps gwi nam to get to the roof by getting to the door and saying she has food and since everyone is starving they open the door then na yeon puts down the food and then while gwi nam is fighting the other classmates she shoves gwi nam off the roof but in doing so she also falls off and her last words are "im sorry" (then after na yeon dies they realized that she left the food there so they don't starve) this way if she still isn't forgiven by her classmates atleast they don't starve
its a pity she realised too late,by that time they have gone to rooftop already ,thats what is reality if we are so stubborn for so much time, we lost even ourselves. she was hidden in that room full of food yet didnt comeout in fear, she was so adamant that killed cheonsang friend who just teased her with friendliness, she didnt know the value of friends until she became all alone by herself hiding from zombies ,realised that just food and room are not enough to survive. by the time she wanted to comeout and help them ,she was eaten by evil zombie gwinam.
na-yeon is my favourite character, i relate to her a lot and she seems the most realistic.

this edit was so good! made me realize my feelings for nayeon again and made me want to rewatch as well. at first, even if it was annoying, i couldn’t blame her for wanting to survive so badly, while everyone was so emotional bc they were with friends i would’ve actually sided with her when she brought up the doubts. but she wasn’t a good person, and i can never forget what she did even if you give me all the reasons in the world. it wasn’t like she let him die while escaping, u know. she made efforts and went out of her way to kill him.
I recognized her early on as the same actress from Squid Games and I was excited that I get to see her acting again. I expected that she would make us love her again. It was very surprising when we found out she actually has a villain role. Her acting really impressed me again.
This show me that not all actresess can make the same role "being lovely" sometimes famous actresess have to do a villain role but in this one Na-yeon is not a villain shes just like a brat role.

the thing i love about nayeon is she’s lowkey relatable. personally i would be terrified in that situation. she was scared, she didn’t want to die. that’s why she killed, out of fear. also i love the one scene where she fell and gyeong-su + the others were helping her back up. they all genuinely cared for each other.

Eun-ji and Na-yeon are a little similar but the difference is that Eun-ji choosed the bad path wanting revenge, and Na-yeon choosed the good path that is to bring food to the others and wanting to apologyze for what she did, another difference is that Na-yeon suffered more than Eun-ji bcs Na-yeon was always alone and she never got attention and dont have friends, she never had a person who could make her happy meanwhile Eun-ji got hard bullied but only when she was on High School

You know that song cheong-sam whislteled with his friend (forgot his name), it's to annonce that friend's death. In french, this song is ''ce n'est qu'un aurevoir'' and scouts and some pupils in some schools sing it at the end of the year, when they will make a way for the last year students or people they won't see again after. Here it's an hidden sign of the friend's death and at the end cheong-sam is singing it to personnaly say his friend a last goodbye...
By the way, it's an adieux song, meaning they will see again in the after death, so i think it also predicted cheongsan's transformation in humbie (thanks daesu :) )

ms. park saved her cause' everyone deserves to live even tho you killed a person or did something really wrong etc., everyone deserves a second chance but unless you try to change like nayeon. she was about to give the students food but gwi nam happend to eat her. murder is something people won't forgive you about but if guilt strikes you and you're about to start a new good mindset then that person deserves a second chance, at least.
she doesn't rightfully deserve a death like that, but instead let her carry the heaviness of that guilt forever and accept that she was like that in her past self.

i saw another doing this so i’m gonna state my opinion!
first scenes:
her character really appealed to me. kdramas this usually don’t have a classic mean bully character, they usually add more depth into their backstory and character development. i was excited for what she would make.
start of zombie apocalypse:
she looked really afraid of zombies, but it was to an unusual amount that wasn’t just the death situation. i noticed that she was also scared whenever abuse or loud noises appeared, although my memory is a bit hazy.
when she killed the guy:
i was slightly surprised, but kind of expected it. in most cases they use a character like her and turn a terrible event into lots of character development + redemption. although, i feel like a different outcome would be if she actually didn’t kill him and was framed for no reason. i feel like that would’ve been more better. i was also so annoyed when the prez slapped her.
after she left the group:
her final words before it were what made me cry the most. my memory is, quite hazy, but i remember her saying something along the lines of, “i don’t have any friends anyways, f you”. it was such a terrible excuse for what she had done but i felt a mutual connection to it. her pride was too high for her own good, and it was the end of her. another scene is her crying hardly, and the teachers death. probably the worst cry i’ve had in awhile. if only someone had reached out and helped her before this all, it would’ve been much better :(
when she was in the storage room:
i related to her character so much. she was scared that everyone was going to hate her, but wanted to risk it. she seemed so scared and worried for her life.
when she was killed:
i didn’t believe it. the creators had so much room to add her character development and backstory but they just didn’t. i realise the show is very fast paced with the killings but nayeon’s death was a terrible choice. she was actually my favourite character.

Na Yeon was used to always being isolated and alone which gradually filled her with cruelty. Na Yeon never really got accepted by anyone for a long time which made her the way she was. At first, she wanted to open the door but hearing her friends say stuff like that she started to doubt her decision as to why would they accept or forgive her after she did all those things. She was scared, a bit confused, and was going through the trauma of what she did. She caused gong su' s death and was conflicted about her teacher. She didn't have the guts to face her friends. people don't really understand how it is to go through such an amount of guilt and trauma. any other character would have taken it in a better way but Na Yeon could not do so due to her past.

This video really made me feel bad for nayeon
Especially when she was hiding away from her friends was very sad and the camera was so nice to watch the devolvment go through
And regreted her choice of killing gyeong su and becuase of the sound she made she died and she locked the door becuase of the insults she was super sacred of the group at that point which made me feel bad (SPOILERS ALERT FOR COMIC VERISON)

Na-yeon really had the safest death in my opinion. Attempted to change but died in vain. Villain to all from start to end. No mercy before,during, and after death.

I told my friend she was my favorite Character i straight up got roasted on bruh

this is just a thought of mine but i think the reason why Na Yeon didnt open the door to give them food after they said those things was because if they saw her, they would think "ah why are you bribing us with food? do you think we will forgive you? do you think its okay to show your face around us after what you did? do you think we'll apologize about what we said after you give us food?".
I feel like she thinks that it will be a lot worse if she showed herself, because they will get reminded of Gyeong Su, which is now a painful memory. Guilt that stopped her from becoming better, because sometimes when you do something so unforgivable, when you've committed something so horrible.... that you can never return back to the way things were, it's pretty much over for you.... no matter what you do.
it actually makes me sad because after some time of thinking, Na Yeon realizes that she should've given the food so she packs some up and was about to go to the rooftop, through the zombies, risking her life. (But you know how that ended so
