Onjo never really hated Namra, she just thought Nam was arrogant and didn't like anyone, but then they solve this misunderstanding and become friends, even the one who trusted the class president first was On-jo (sukyeok was already in love so it doesn't count) she defended her in front of everyone, why you guys dont take all that into account, instead of saying she was just jealous?
Onjo was one of the best character . I mean she was soo Loving and Caring . They showed the best character development for onjo . I really see lot of love for namra from onjo . She literally could have got killed on that day but still that girl had soo much understanding and love towards her that she asked namra to come with her . Namra was also equally loving towards her . So personally I relate more to onjo . And park ji hoo did a really amazing job in portraying her character . Onjo is such a lovely soul 😘😘😘😘❤️❤️😘
Actually love how On-Jo manage to let her dislike of Namra aside, and focus on the importance of being there for each other. She said she hated her but she was the only one willing to let her stay with the group after she was infected. She always tried to make Namra feel trusted/accepted even when she was jealous. The more i re-watch the drama, the more I fell in love with On-Jo. Honestly, On-Jo fits the typical high schooler character really well. She is a sweet person who has a crush on her classmate, not good at studying but still having huge circle of friends, respects her father, has bestfriends she laughs and picks up fights with, lowkey hates her classmate (Nam-ra) but what's special is that she is not a total jerk like Nayeon who treats Gyeongsu the worst. On-Jo is a super relatable character but y'all just dislike her because she doesn't fit your "badass" requirement On-Jo is the informal leader that no one sees coming due to her soft spoken personality. However she actually carries the highest emotional intelligence in the show. She is very brilliant with surviving skills too. Lmao if it's not for her who suggested to built the barricade in the classroom and run away using the back door, who broke the classroom lock using the hose while everyone else (female character) panicking in the hallway, who told her friends to find Cheongsan using the drone so that all of them could stick in a group and no one got separated, who taught her friends to build the temporary toilet, who initiated every conversations with Nam-Ra to make her feel more welcomed, who tried to convince Cheongsan that Namra wasn't a zombie and convinced both Suhyeok and Nam-ra to untie the knot, who convinced Nam-ra that she could bite her when she turned... All of them won't even have survived that far. Her collective thinking and her emotional intelligence that cares for others make her a perfect fit for a leader. And that's why Namra said that she's the one who should be the leader. Namra ain't wrong! She of course was a bit jealous with Nam-ra at first due to the love triangle, but she eventually developed a very good relationship with Nam-ra tho and that's all thanks to her that initiated it?? On-Jo is a very warm and strong person inside but y'all don't wanna see that cause y'all have been induced that every female lead needs to be strong physically, fierce and outspoken. Her acting is actually on point too! Like, I can't imagine how other actress could give off such calm, laid back, not excessively annoying or expressive facial expressions like her. Even in crying scene where she saw her father got bitten and when Cheongsan was about to go for the last fight, I truly love how she keep her calm, collective aura and not overdo the crying. Her little squeaky voice while "sobbing" when Isak fell from the window, and during the last hug with Cheongsan was beautifully portrayed and done. She actually carried the show!

At first, Namra didn't turn into a zombie because her will to know why Suhyeok do these things for her yet never call her by her name was stronger then it changed to wanting to sit on a camp fire with her friends so she was able to stay a hambie.
First there were scene Su hyeok was sneaking looking at namra and must be day dreaming abt her all the time during class. Then he found a reason to date Namra but first he got to tell On jo he is not available to see her during break time at the rooftop, giving excuse abt playing basketball. And then he actually know how to find Namra easily, must be stalking her all the time!!

Omg I remember how much I related to On-jo when I first watched this show I also had a crush on one of my classmates, and every interaction between On-jo and Su-Hyeok reminded me of me and the boy I liked like: fixing myself to look more presentable in front of him, looking at him all the time, smiling after talking, getting jealous of other girls, and even getting annoyed with everyone because they thought I was going out with my friend
I love on-jo with cheongsan she loved him but wasn't aware of her own feelings until he confessed and she when thought through she knew that she loved him too🥺....also when she noticed that su hyeok and nam ra were kind of reciprocating feelings for each other, at first she might have felt hurt and acted in a certain way ( asking to untie their hands at first time) but when the second time she asked, her intentions were clearer that she wanted nam-ra to hang out with others too so that they can trust her...and also later they became very good friends. I love Nam-ra with su hyeok because of how su hyeok says if you feel like biting again, instead of biting your hand, you can bite me so we can both be the same 🥺🥺

Then later she was able to land a role as lead in the drama "School 2021" and "All of us are Dead" where people LOVED her as Nam-ra. Now in the present Yi-hyun is the lead of a movie called "Dongam (I duuno the english title)" starring with famous actor Yeo Jin-goo and Na In-woo. This movie is a remake of a a a very successful and famous movie in 2000 due to it's popularity. So Yi-hyun is also very popular here in Korea, not only Ji-hoo(onjo). And if you see their Instagram followers Yi-hyun has more followers. Yi-hyun has 5 million followers and Ji-hoo (onjo) has 4 million followers. And I think actors should be choosed as lead based on their acting skills NOT popularity. Jihoo(Onjo) is good actress but its just my personal opinion but I think Yi-hyun is better at acting since she has more experience in the acting world by acting in much more films and by graduating in the musical department during high-school and studying in the department of theater and film during university.

Since aside from acting skills, actors synchronizations with the character is very important in determining who will act who. I'd have to say on-jo's character fits better with ji-hoo rather than yi-hyun just like Nam-ra's character fit with Yi-hyun and not ji-hoo. Just imagine Chan-yeong acting as Su-hyeok who is supposed to be a fighter that is very athletic. Its doesn't fit! or Sang-yeon acting as dae-su. It doesn't fit either. I'm not sure if you can read Korean but if you go to 3.1. 5th column, color orange means special appearance, light gray is minor role, dark gray is supporting character, and gold is LEAD. The more I watch this drama the more I fell in love with this couple✨ (Su-hyeok🤍& Nam-ra❤)I just can't wait to see them together again in the next seasons😌💕
I feel like more than jealousy it was just a misunderstanding of each other's personalities. And this misunderstanding was totally external(as in caused by the society, toxic school environment and Namra's mom who stopped her from socializing). Them being enemies made no sense to me, their personalities are so complementary to each other. Nam-Ra is logical as opposed to On-Jo's emotional psyche, but Namra is certainly not a snob. On-Jo's people skills made her a good friend choice to Nam-Ra. Similarly Namra's stable and smart bent of mind was always there to have Onjo's back! My biggest fear throughout the series was that Onjo and Namra will eventually start disliking each other due to having the same love interest. I totally didnt want the series to become the classic teen drama where two girls fight over a guy to the point where one girl becomes a vamp. I was also scared Namra would give up to the zombie virus inside of her. I really liked the ending where Onjo gets what she wanted the most- an environment where intellectual capacity isn't given more value over someone's health and wellbeing. Namra also got the genuine set of friends she longed for all her life. 😌
On-jo had crush on Su-hyeok but when time has been passing, and when Cheongsan was bitten, On-jo's love completely changed on to Cheongsan. And if he's alive by any chance in next season, they truely would love each other and also On-jo's father said to Cheongsan to take care of her.

Namra's my Fav character actually☺️Cause she always try hard to Control herself even hurt herself So she won't hurt them and Being Half Zombie is verry hard and Her character is verry relatable. Her mom has so high expectations To her and she's scared to fail Her mom and she didn't had Friends. And She was hated by Almost all of her classmates. Cause they thought Namra Hated them but it's actually The opposite Namra cared For them but it was only in The beggining that they hated her though atles she have Friends now.and she didn't even go with her friends cause she was afraid to hurt them and its really hard to be alone though and she's kiling every Zombies left so it won't spread anymore which makes her a hero but i hope she is with Cheong-san. I think one of the reasons why OnJo gets unnecessary hate is because of that red ribbon thread. Since NamHyeok was the first mutually reciprocated and established couple, people will inevitably bias them a lot. And then OnJo pops up with her insistence to untie that ribbon and in the end is the one who ends up untying their hands and separating them, and ig people see it as her trying to come between them? And so this hate is understandable but dumb at the same time. You can't really blame OnJo for behaving in that way, she's a teenage girl with a crush, obviously she's gonna feel jealous and might act petty, but no one can deny the fact that OnJo has amazing character. She always tries to do right by everyone, has a high EQ, wants to save everyone and in general is a very compassionate and street smart person.
But I dislike Onjo not because of the triangle or the square, but because I find her lacking and boring. The love relationship is quite understandable and very highschool which is normal, but there is something that feels so empty or unsatisfying with Onjo. Maybe the acting doesn't buy it for me. There is that trying hard feels to be someone greater in Onjo's character. Heck, the scenes that made me emotional was gwangsu's turning, the collective disappointment when they were rejected by the rescue team, and when cheonsang met his zombified mom. But ultimately, I guess the acting and portrayal of Onjo's character lacks something that's why I didn't like Onjo. Its our opinion though so, yeah, to each of their own.
actually i have my own personal theory about on-jo untying tie that connected Namhyeok hands. i kinda feels that the production team trying to foreshadowing what happened when Namra tried to bit On-jo. because that event, triggered Namra did whatever she did by staying away from Suhyeok and the rest.

@@kjung5833 Onjo was a good character and never really did anything wrong. She was one of the smartest out of the entire group and would make the plans and come up with the ideas. I think she always had feelings for Cheong san but was too scared to ruin their friendship so she tried to pursue other guys. Cheong san always teased her and made fun of her so I think she assumed that he didnt like her romantically and would never think of her in that way. Thats why even Su Hyeok told Cheong San not to treat her in that way.

Well people need to get out of loving the most fierce character.if you observe More deeply you may witness that she ultimately gave up on suhyeok and even didn't have a mad crush on him to get started with. But the delicate relationship of onjo and cheongsan is not at all noticed by many.for instance him recalling onjo when he was stucked in the pipe thing,and then when they found him in the music room cheongsan was only concerned about onjo and them having little arguments here and there made the show way more interesting.honestly I also like suhyeok and namra but it is the same old story of bad boy loving the cold class president.but if you recall the show onjo and cheongsan's love story was way more warming and interesting.They didn't directly fall in love like suhyeok and namra and onjo had no idea that cheongsan liked her.But at the end her not letting cheongsan leave and him hugging her had me in tears.. Onjo was one of the best character . I mean she was soo Loving and Caring . They showed the best character development for onjo . I really see lot of love for namra from onjo . She literally could have got killed on that day but still that girl had soo much understanding and love towards her that she asked namra to come with her . Namra was also equally loving towards her . So personally I relate more to onjo . And park ji hoo did a really amazing job in portraying her character . Onjo is such a lovely soul 😘😘😘😘❤️❤️😘

The more i re-watch the drama, the more I fell in love with On-Jo. Honestly, On-Jo fits the typical high schooler character really well. She is a sweet person who has a crush on her classmate, not good at studying but still having huge circle of friends, respects her father, has bestfriends she laughs and picks up fights with, lowkey hates her classmate (Nam-ra) but what's special is that she is not a total jerk like Nayeon who treats Gyeongsu the worst. On-Jo is a super relatable character but y'all just dislike her because she doesn't fit your "badass" requirement
On-Jo is the informal leader that no one sees coming due to her soft spoken personality. However she actually carries the highest emotional intelligence in the show. She is very brilliant with surviving skills too. Lmao if it's not for her who suggested to built the barricade in the classroom and run away using the back door, who broke the classroom lock using the hose while everyone else (female character) panicking in the hallway, who told her friends to find Cheongsan using the drone so that all of them could stick in a group and no one got separated, who taught her friends to build the temporary toilet, who initiated every conversations with Nam-Ra to make her feel more welcomed, who tried to convince Cheongsan that Namra wasn't a zombie and convinced both Suhyeok and Nam-ra to untie the knot, who convinced Nam-ra that she could bite her when she turned...
All of them won't even have survived that far. Her collective thinking and her emotional intelligence that cares for others make her a perfect fit for a leader. And that's why Namra said that she's the one who should be the leader. Namra ain't wrong! She of course was a bit jealous with Nam-ra at first due to the love triangle, but she eventually developed a very good relationship with Nam-ra tho and that's all thanks to her that initiated it??
On-Jo is a very warm and strong person inside but y'all don't wanna see that cause y'all have been induced that every female lead needs to be strong physically, fierce and outspoken. Her acting is actually on point too! Like, I can't imagine how other actress could give off such calm, laid back, not excessively annoying or expressive facial expressions like her. Even in crying scene where she saw her father got bitten and when Cheongsan was about to go for the last fight, I truly love how she keep her calm, collective aura and not overdo the crying. Her little squeaky voice while "sobbing" when Isak fell from the window, and during the last hug with Cheongsan was beautifully portrayed and done.

At first, Namra didn't turn into a zombie because her will to know why Suhyeok do these things for her yet never call her by her name was stronger then it changed to wanting to sit on a camp fire with her friends so she was able to stay a hambie.
First there were scene Su hyeok was sneaking looking at namra and must be day dreaming abt her all the time during class. Then he found a reason to date Namra but first he got to tell On jo he is not available to see her during break time at the rooftop, giving excuse abt playing basketball. And then he actually know how to find Namra easily, must be stalking her all the time!!

I also had a crush on one of my classmates, and every interaction between On-jo and Su-Hyeok reminded me of me and the boy I liked like: fixing myself to look more presentable in front of him, looking at him all the time, smiling after talking, getting jealous of other girls, and even getting annoyed with everyone because they thought I was going out with my friend
I love on-jo with cheongsan she loved him but wasn't aware of her own feelings until he confessed and she when thought through she knew that she loved him too🥺....also when she noticed that su hyeok and nam ra were kind of reciprocating feelings for each other, at first she might have felt hurt and acted in a certain way ( asking to untie their hands at first time) but when the second time she asked, her intentions were clearer that she wanted nam-ra to hang out with others too so that they can trust her...and also later they became very good friends.

Now in the present Yi-hyun is the lead of a movie called "Dongam (I duuno the english title)" starring with famous actor Yeo Jin-goo and Na In-woo. This movie is a remake of a a a very successful and famous movie in 2000 due to it's popularity. So Yi-hyun is also very popular here in Korea, not only Ji-hoo(onjo). And if you see their Instagram followers Yi-hyun has more followers. Yi-hyun has 5 million followers and Ji-hoo (onjo) has 4 million followers.
And I think actors should be choosed as lead based on their acting skills NOT popularity. Jihoo(Onjo) is good actress but its just my personal opinion but I think Yi-hyun is better at acting since she has more experience in the acting world by acting in much more films and by graduating in the musical department during high-school and studying in the department of theater and film during university.

Lead doesn't mean best in acting. I'd have to say I have seen many films where supporting actors' had superb acting. Since aside from acting skills, actors synchronizations with the character is very important in determining who will act who. I'd have to say on-jo's character fits better with ji-hoo rather than yi-hyun just like Nam-ra's character fit with Yi-hyun and not ji-hoo. Just imagine Chan-yeong acting as Su-hyeok who is supposed to be a fighter that is very athletic. Its doesn't fit! or Sang-yeon acting as dae-su. It doesn't fit either.
And Yi-hyun is also a lead in AOUAD. I tried to paste a link but youtube would delete my comment so search "namuwiki cho yihyun." I'm not sure if you can read Korean but if you go to 3.1. 5th column, color orange means special appearance, light gray is minor role, dark gray is supporting character, and gold is LEAD. In the last row for all of us are dead there is color gold.
And i don't know what you are trying to say but i'd appreciate it if you would stop mentioning other actress or compare them with Yi-hyun. I just commented on how I love yi-hyun and lomon together but you kept on commenting and comparing. I feel like more than jealousy it was just a misunderstanding of each other's personalities. And this misunderstanding was totally external(as in caused by the society, toxic school environment and Namra's mom who stopped her from socializing). Them being enemies made no sense to me, their personalities are so complementary to each other. Nam-Ra is logical as opposed to On-Jo's emotional psyche, but Namra is certainly not a snob. On-Jo's people skills made her a good friend choice to Nam-Ra. Similarly Namra's stable and smart bent of mind was always there to have Onjo's back! My biggest fear throughout the series was that Onjo and Namra will eventually start disliking each other due to having the same love interest. I totally didnt want the series to become the classic teen drama where two girls fight over a guy to the point where one girl becomes a vamp. I was also scared Namra would give up to the zombie virus inside of her. I really liked the ending where Onjo gets what she wanted the most- an environment where intellectual capacity isn't given more value over someone's health and wellbeing. Namra also got the genuine set of friends she longed for all her life. 😌

I think one of the reasons why OnJo gets unnecessary hate is because of that red ribbon thread. Since NamHyeok was the first mutually reciprocated and established couple, people will inevitably bias them a lot.
And then OnJo pops up with her insistence to untie that ribbon and in the end is the one who ends up untying their hands and separating them, and ig people see it as her trying to come between them?
And so this hate is understandable but dumb at the same time. You can't really blame OnJo for behaving in that way, she's a teenage girl with a crush, obviously she's gonna feel jealous and might act petty, but no one can deny the fact that OnJo has amazing character.
She always tries to do right by everyone, has a high EQ, wants to save everyone and in general is a very compassionate and street smart person.
But I dislike Onjo not because of the triangle or the square, but because I find her lacking and boring. The love relationship is quite understandable and very highschool which is normal, but there is something that feels so empty or unsatisfying with Onjo. Maybe the acting doesn't buy it for me. There is that trying hard feels to be someone greater in Onjo's character.
Heck, the scenes that made me emotional was gwangsu's turning, the collective disappointment when they were rejected by the rescue team, and when cheonsang met his zombified mom.
But ultimately, I guess the acting and portrayal of Onjo's character lacks something that's why I didn't like Onjo. Its our opinion though so, yeah, to each of their own.
actually i have my own personal theory about on-jo untying tie that connected Namhyeok hands. i kinda feels that the production team trying to foreshadowing what happened when Namra tried to bit On-jo. because that event, triggered Namra did whatever she did by staying away from Suhyeok and the rest.

@@kjung5833 Onjo was a good character and never really did anything wrong. She was one of the smartest out of the entire group and would make the plans and come up with the ideas. I think she always had feelings for Cheong san but was too scared to ruin their friendship so she tried to pursue other guys. Cheong san always teased her and made fun of her so I think she assumed that he didnt like her romantically and would never think of her in that way. Thats why even Su Hyeok told Cheong San not to treat her in that way.

I literally ship on jo and su hyeok so much
Why?
Su hyeok said after onjo ask him out, he rejected and said he have basketball practice,but actually he wants to go out and be with namra
I feel sad for namra , everyone hated her for no reason , even onjo said in the middle when namra asked her dont u hate me ? She said i still do that ... seriously?? Namra told onjo that u should've been the class president knowing she hates her .. onjo never accepted cheong san feelings even after noticing his love and care for her ... su heyok was amazing caring for everyone and soo in love with namra ... feel sad for namra and cheong san(loving onjo , even when he was kissing her at last she was standing still )...onjo lost everyone her friend her father cheong san (loved him at wrong time) su heyok (loved namra from the beginning) but atlast she was in friends with namra...namra didn't bite her and any of her friends knowing they hated her at frst ...so in love with namra character
Just because Cheongsan liked her doesn’t mean she liked him too, had to like him back or accept his advances with her?? I still don’t understand the people who say this, I never saw romantic feelings for Cheongsan from On-jo

I just think that on jo doesn't match the chemistry with suhyeok I mean on jos chemistry is perfect with cheaong and nam ra with suhyeok
This is not about looking nice. It's about the chemistry between the characters.

@@kjung5833 she made the show more real for me. The way she made almost all the escape plans, the way she helped the group with their mental problems, the way she was kind of the glue of the group. And also the way she helped namra so much. I just love her character so much.
