Love it! Thanks for video. I started my loc extensions June 10, 2022 and I also have a big head. Was supposed to get 80 locs but she ran out of locs and I have 79 locs. 😂 not sure what happened to the last loc! But now I have 77 cause 2 loc extensions fell out and I don’t know where it is lol.. I decided not to reinstall new ones and I wanted to see how my real hair will grow as well as the loc extensions. I’m new subscriber now. Pls continue to update us!
Yea I’m paying 1300 but I’m here in California smh but I still can’t wait . This is my second loc journey and I did them naturally no extensions but this time I’m going this route because I CAN LOL. You look great sis and love your hair .
loc extensions can go for cheaper than 800 for anyone wondering. they charge a grip in ATL 🥴, but in other states, you can get a good, proper install for $600ish. i’m in ohio, and the lady i plan on going to charges $650.
You are absolutely right, I'm from ATL and got mines done and the cost was $900 plus hair, but my friend in Mississippi paid $650 for hers hair included
Im bald now and the only thing i haven't done with my hair was grow it out naturally to start locs..back in the day when i wanted locs there wasn't instant locs...I've made the decision to let my hair be and grow out so i can start a loc journey I'm watching videos daily to keep motivated...its something I'm really excited to try and will embrace..thanks for your update❤
Just got my loc extensions 2 days ago trying to figure out what hair products to use.. I also get compliments and tell them it's extensions but it's still mine tho lmaoo I paid for it 🤣
It’s not about having the affordability of Loc extensions, it’s about the journey of loving yourself more even through the rough stages when ur hair is crazy and frizzy. I went through the journey before I got my Loc extensions for my undercut section that I am growing out now. I did instant Loc my hair at 3 months but even if you have instant locs/Loc extensions, ur still going through the phases of locs like the binding stage, you just don’t see it as easily.
How are your loc extensions currently doing? And also, when you first got them, although they did look real, did they feel real as well, or were they a bit stiff and odd in any type of way? And did you have to deal with any itchiness as a con too, as I've heard one person talk about that during their loc extension journey? Thanks!
895??? i paid 740 for 24 inch locs from etsy and installed myself i dont got it like that lol and about the journey thing.. this is not a race nor a competition. being a black person with our hair alone is a journey
Who did you get your locs from, and if you remember what kind are they? I’m debating on getting textured locs from Enams but everyone I see who got extensions has locs that look more coarse.
Your locs are beautiful! I wore hair extensions and wigs with my natural hair. During Covid shut down I started my locs from scratch so I can understand both points of view and how many who did and are going through the natural process feel about those who decided to skip to the end. At the end of the day I believe everyone should do what we feel is best them….. but your comment stating “because you have the money so basically how dare you come for me” was a little nasty. Not everyone has “the money “ or that kind of money just to spend on their hair and if they choose to have something to say about loc extensions they have the right to do so just like you have a right to your opinions.
I spritz my edges with water daily now, too. I'm 8 months in with my loc extensions and am in love with them.
Your locs are beautiful. I’m at 4 months with my loc extensions right now and I love them!
Thank you so much ! ❤️
Great video.
Very Detailed.
Your Locs Look Really nice and natural.
Love your hair. I’m four months in with my extensions. Best decision I’ve made regarding my hair.
Exactly ! I love how easy it is ❤️❗️

but i definitely agree with emma about how hard it is to find a good loctician. it took me 4 months and almost getting scammed twice to find this lady
SCAMMMEDD!! but yea Atlanta stylist do charge a arm and a leg so 895$ was the cheapest it was gonna get 😭
Same in Michigan, the person I went to charged $350 for making and installing them, all I had to do was buy the bulk hair
You are absolutely right, I'm from ATL and got mines done and the cost was $900 plus hair, but my friend in Mississippi paid $650 for hers hair included
Can you give me the ig of who did yours I live in Ohio🥲

I have interlocks and wish I didn't. Makes the lock compress so it gets thinner. Now I'm experiencing breakage.
I’m kinda leaning against it now ! Thanks for the update and advice

Great video 🎉
Great Video!
I’m in Vegas struggling to find a Loc shop there’s 1 but apparently the owner/crew is heavily against extensions 🙄 so guess I’m driving 4hrs to AZ
Girl I'm in Vegas too. I get my extensions in June, if you want her tik tok to check her out let me know. If you haven't got them already. 😊
When did the itching go away for you
What size are your locs, pencil(.06)?
Can you please send me the name of the person who did your loc extensions? I live in Atlanta too. Your locs look absolutely beautiful
@ queenoflocss
What size are your locs?
Try wax paint first to see what color you would like
I was thinking that but a lot of people said it runs when you sweat or get it wet . And it’s hot outside 🤣!
Were you locs stiff when you got them? Ik sum people deal with stiffness as a big issue. And if so how did u get rid of it ?
They were a lil stiff at first . By the second wash and moisturizing daily it loosened up
How long did you wait before you first wet loc extensions
two months
Your real hair is also going through the locing process thats y your getting frizzies same thing happens with starter locs
I figured but my original stylist recommended that I get them retightened so that just stuck with me
Im also in Atl looking for loc extensions. Can you tell me who did yours please 🙂
Go to @pluglocs on Instagram
Napstar is in atl
How long were they when you first got them? 10/12 in?
sorry for being sooo late but ten 10in
