i think the suns getting dog walked in game 7 in 2022 stopped everyone from just assuming that seeds matter after the play-in. celtics have come up short 3 years in a row now, so its hard for people who arent die hard celtics fans to put faith in them just because they have the best regular season record. that being said, even speaking as a lakers fan, it seems that the celtics are getting extra hate this year. theyve only lost 16 games all season but its like every time they lose, there are a mountain of videos talking about how they are a fraudulent team. tatum especially for some reason is really disliked, which considering hes the star player, just adds fuel to the fire. its interesting how the current best team in the nba is still flying under the radar at the end of the season, but i hope they do make a deep finals run.
Which is funny given the Sixers' history of choking is WAAAAAAAAAY worse than the Celtics. At least the Celtics consistently get past the second round.
Talking about injury problems about other East teams but the Celtics are actually winning games with significant help from Hauser, Kornet and Pritchard.
Meh it’s not that they are not liked in the sense of “I hate their franchise and fans” at least for me they are just the most uninteresting team yeah their basketball play is great but in a day and age where people are attracted to drama, charismatic players, and loud personalities, the Celtics are just not interesting. Doesn’t change the fact they are a good team playing great basketball.

On a random sidenote, I kind of wish Dame ended up on the Miami Heat, they would’ve done a better job of covering his weaknesses on defense while also highlighting his strengths. I’m surprised that the Dame with the bucks thing hasn’t really worked out
I have a different take: Had the Bucks not fired their coach when the team had a 30-13 record, their season may have been different. The thing is that the 30-13 record wasn't sketchy. It was a terrific record for any team, but especially considering they completely changed the culture dynamic of the team, they were obviously not in total sync, understandable for a remodeled team, but yet they were still winning big. People always think it's about winning, but winning frequently is not considered in decisions made by sports teams. A lot of decisions are simply based on ego or personal opinion not related to the best interest of the organization. Case in point.

I think that there is no possible way unless Westbrook is back, that the Clippers stand a chance to make it out of the Western Conference. They just have too much of a history of epic collapses. I can't buy in to what they are doing until they prove they can at least make it to the Western Conference Finals. For me, this means Russell Westbrook has to be healthy and playing. If he isn't, that bench just doesn't have the same energy and ability to step up big when the starters are having an off night. As talented as George, Leonard and Harden are, only Leonard has produced in the playoffs on a consistent basis. Westbrook seems make up for the deficiency. If Harden disappears, he is there to step up. He doesn't have to deliver 35 points, but just giving 15-18 points and 4 or 5 assists and a couple of rebounds makes up for when Harden goes on a drought and has 6 points, 4 assists and 1 rebound. Without Russ, I don't see them being a match for Denver, Minnesota or OKC. I would buy in on Dallas or Sacramento right now more than the Clippers and I don't buy in on the Kings or Mavs. (Kings have been inconsistent all year and the Mavs I just don't see the secondary guys and think...yeah. they can do it in the playoffs. The East won more against the West 3 times. Funny enough, 2 of those 3 seasons were 2021/22 and 2022/23... 😂
The Celtics are 23-7 against the Western Conference. That's the best winning percentage vs. Western Conference teams in the NBA and only slightly lower than their overall winning percentage. Yes, overall the West is stronger than the East, but the Celtics would be the number 1 team regardless of which conference they are in.
@@Il_Exile_lI Did I talk about the Celtics? The title is "1 True Contender" and I explained why... put every Top 10 West team in the East and they would be the 2nd or 3rd team with more games against easy opponents. And the Bucks as the 2nd seed would most likely be a Play In team in the West.

@@xIpyschoIx He said “contender.” Do the Knicks without Randle have a chance at beating Boston? Absolutely. Joe Mazzulla and Jayson Tatum both have high profile struggles in the postseason as recent as last year. KP staying healthy through an entire playoff run is a bold prediction. The Knicks are predicated on mucking it up and playing hard defense and have a true identity. They’ve got counters for the looks teams are going to throw at Brunson in the playoffs with Divo a pass away/on the weak side, Hart in the pocket playing 4v3 and iHart being a good short roll passer and PNR finisher. With an energized MSG and playing with house money with far less expectations than the Celtics, the Knicks have a better shot than you think.
Well yeah… the west has almost ALWAYS been the far better conference.
Second round exit.
Lol the day the bucks beat celtics....again
Bro be trying hard to get to that 8 minutes 🤣
idk, he talks pretty fast. if he was trying to pad out the time, surely he’d just slow down his talking a lil’.
Celtics will beat Miami rd 1 and coast to the finals
Celtics afraid of the 76ers. 🤣🤣🤣
they def arent 💀
They haven’t beat the Celtics inna series since the 80s😭 if we match up with the sixers Issa guaranteed advance to the next round
If the 76ers have ever beat the Celtics in recent years then maybe they would be 😂😂😂
Your celtics just lost to Bucks again. STFU, what's excuse? "We already have first seed so not trying to win" In 7 game series Celtics can never win again major teams. It's playoffs, we have seen what celtics do.
Let’s be real. I’m not even a Celtics fan. They weren’t trying bro. The Celtics were literally just on the court treating the game like a scrimmage.
Lakers beat em without Bron and AD
Congrats. That banner of “beat the Celtics without our best players” will look so good in the rafters 😂☘️
celtics beat the lakers with bron and AD
