I can see putting these flakes in the tails of lizards, claws of craws and in the belly of laminated swim baits line the 3" crappie slayer. The possibilities are entless.
Woah, glow in the dark glitter? That is pretty cool. I bet if you left them on the boat deck in the sun the effect would be pretty bright when tossed down into the drink.
I could see the wizard wheels turning. I'm looking forward to some fantastic baits you come up with. Also, the little section you did with the plastisol where you gave a truthful and very thorough and thoughtful review of the plastisol was great. Because it showed you give your opinion straight to the community. Thanks for that. Be blessed. My friend.
I am interested in two things. First, I would be interested in how pigments in the bait impact the charging and glow of the flakes. That is a huge test needed to be done. The other issue is color. Most fish cannot see blue and green light. So, it'd be interesting to see how the same baits, using different color flakes, behave when night fishing for different species of fish. Studies show bass see red and purple better than any color, so it'd be neat to see if this applies to glowing baits as well.
Yet another great video. And just to let you know, I appreciate your discount code for Alpha Pigments. I used it a while ago but have become a returning customer of them as well as Barlows...thank you for the videos
@SDGCustomLurecraft no sir, it is you I owe the thanks to....I found Mike at Baitchuckin through you and the Barlows color shift powders and lordy lordy those AP's. Wow
Yeah, I think it depends on the amount of flake (the bigger baits with more in them definitely lasted longer) and what your “charge” source is. While I was using a UV light for less than a minute, laying them out on a sunny day would, I’ll get, charge them better and get a longer result.
@@russmaxwell4809 I reheated it with other remelt, so unfortunately, it was lost in the shuffle. You can call Barlow’s though, they test their products and may have an answer for you!
Very cool looking baits! The glow is something else! Great job and thanks for sharing!
Pleasure it mine David, thanks!

All great ideas, yes sir!

Oh 100% - I put them in the UV box for only 30 sec or so and got this... extended sunlight would, no doubt, 10x em!

My pleasure! I do hope it was all valuable!
Good exhibit, I wonder have you ever shown us how to vacuum the plastisol to remove bubbles?
Thanks! I've never dedicated a video to it - maybe shown a bit in the past. Thanks again!
That was a great video Adam. Get a floating black light and you would be scooping them up by the net full.
Yes indeed! I imagine sunlight does an even better job than my shop UV stuff. Pretty neat stuff!
so cool! night fishing!! 🙌🙌
It would be a dandy at night!

All good points! Thanks for your feedback!
Don't think it needs limited to night fishing. Any dirty dark water should cause a glow. Middle of the lake
@@johnblumeraitis2475 where Inlive, most water bodies are not deep enough to block out light.
I think we gotta see them with a translucent color. Lots of possibilities if they still charge and glow this well.
Yup, a transparent base would be a nice addition!
Thanks for the review on the plastic. Now it’s time to see the glow stuff with some colors 😂
Lots of possibilities, huh?? Oh yeah!
Can we have a link to your vacuum chamber? Wonderful video as always, keep up the great work!
Thanks and sure thing! Here ya go - a.co/d/ivGkHSy
Interesting video Adam. Have a great weekend and God Bless You and Yours.
Thanks Gary, same to you!
Have to see with color added
That is the next best step!
This one should definitely be the outer body of a core shot with something like a chartreuse core color.
Absolutely! That would be killer!
Good stuff thank you Adam
Always a pleasure Matt, thanks man!

Interesting! After you play around with them for a bit, I’d be interested in knowing how long they glow before needing a recharge

Did Barlow’s plastic float ?
I didn't test it so I'm not sure. I do know the bottle didn't say anything about floating on the label. Thx!
Out of the bottle, our plastisol has a slow sink.
Ah, there ya go Jim!
@@SDGCustomLurecraft thank you
have you tried to re-heat this? if so does it yellow on you
