    What many people don't seem to address is the fact, that youtube conversion also seems to affect colors. So my final render looks great in h265 quicktime 4K but as youtube converts it - it's noticably different.

      What happens to it on UA-cam? And what program are you exporting from?

      @@JoshBirman davinci resolve 18 - seems like skin tones are affected

      I used to have a problem with Resolve where it would add a bunch of extra contrast to UA-cam uploads. I fixed it by setting my Gamma Tag to Rec709, in the Advanced Settings menu of the Export page. I don’t know if that will fix the issue you’re having but it may be worth a try.
