Mike is a genius, he wrote every LP song and produced every track too.
Well I'll try to explain what Mike does so that maybe you find him a lot more awesome. He started the band, engineered and produced all of their records, contributed to the instrumental and lyrical composition almost all of Linkin Park's songs, has composed The Raid and Transformers soundtrack, remixed Deftones and Depeche Mode (won a grammy for one), owns his own record label, performs with almost all of the instruments live, does most of the art for the band, etc.
Mike also kept Chester away from the drugs and gave him a much more healthier lifestyle. If Chester wasn't in the band it wouldn't have been as successful but, if Mike wasn't in it there'd be no success at all. I'd say let Hasma see more of LP's live stuff, Mike is super humble and exudes nothing but charm, charisma and positive energy.
Facts!!! and don't forget the brilliant mixing and production he did when creating the "Collision Course" Album with Jay Z
Hate's a strong word dude. It's ok to not like a band or artist. No reason to "Hate" a band. Get that outta ur heart.
Nothing wrong with an artist not being to someone's taste. I've watched Mike Shinoda perform solo twice, and each time I found him fantastic. His shows were well-paced and overall energetic, without being overwhelming, and he was friendly and sweet in all his interactions with us.
Have you guys heard the Hunting Party from them? That's probably their heaviest record and I absolutely love it. Also, Mike is amazing!

The vibe Mike puts into the world? Mike puts such an awesome vibe into the world. Do you mean specifically when he's rapping? Because otherwise he's amazing vibes and person. I love his rap too, but I can see someone not being a fan. Mike is incredibly musically talented though even if his rap isn't your thing, and he's such a nice guy. 1 of my favorite musicians as a person and looking at all around talent.

I think he needs to listen to Given Up and No More Sorrow. They are both heavy songs from Minutes to Midnight album. One song that I like to listen to is My December it shows a more mellow Chester performance. My favorite performance of My December is from Projekt Revolution 2002.
I don't know if he saw the tribute to Chester that Mike did in 2018 during one of his concerts. Mike talked to the audience and then he did in the end and he had the crowd sing Chester's part like they did when Chester was still alive.

@Loop2React This song was Chester's favorite song to perform on stage no matter where they were at in their career. You can hear the emotions in Chester's voice no matter what song he sang. Chester loved performing this song because the energy level from the band and audience always went up no matter how tried everyone was.
The one song that shows Chester's more raw side is Given Up because of what that song is about. Chester wrote the lyrics to Given Up just after he got out of rehab in 2005. It tells the fans what Chester felt during and after his divorce from his first wife Samantha. After rehab Chester used songwriting to deal with his feelings in a healthier manner instead of turning to drugs again.
An emotional performance of Numb is the one from the tribute concert for Chester in 2017 at the Hollywood bowl. The band intended to do an instrumental performance of Numb but the fans started singing Numb when they realized that the band weren't going to sing the lyrics to Numb.

I respect the band but I do not like them either so change my mind as well! But to be fair to them, Ive only ever heard the radio played songs so I dont know their discography I would be a lot more critical of the band if Chester was still alive if you want to be honest lol I was more cruel in my opinions of them before he died but I dont want to disrespect the dead or the fans of a dead artist. RIP Chester
