I am from Chennai and I feel very sad due to the recent happenings (cyclone,oil spill, jalikattu, sasikala etc.). Though I am happy for the youth and more open minded people who are able to now raise their opinions, everything seems to be just a 'hot topic' for that week. The sad truth is none of the celebrities or younger gen. people are going to or are at least capable to stand for elections and start a new better phase in tn politics. Even now, when the Central Govt. stop showing step-motherly treatment for every single issue(the complete lethargic behaviour during the chennai oil spill recently, entirely stopping the excavations of one of the ancient cities in the world Keezhadi) towards TN and stop imposing the Hindu-Muslim divide and casteism which dravidian parties have put a huge effort to reduce their impact in society, we are ready to accept your claim. It is not our ideology of uphelding our constitutional right that separates TN from rest of the country, but the constant hatred towards us for some stupid reasons like not speaking hindi(as if thats going to change the rapists in Delhi turn into saints). I am not blaming you for the ignorance/lack of indulgence to understand and extend this into one of the most sensible conversation anyone powerful could have gone on record about what's happening here in Tamil Nadu. The other channel that interviewed KH on the same topic was no different. The problem is that, this isn't a topic. People from all over India should see what happens when the rats comes through the holes in the system. Topically speaking, According to what has been reported, some one called Sasikala has threatened the Hon Chief Minister of a state in this democratic republic to write a letter of resignation, so that she can become the chief minister of the state. Allegations say that there is money, muscle and weapons behind this treacherous speculation (!) Therefore, we think there is no need to change the chief minister unless there is a solid reason. A reelection is waste of our money. For all you know this can happen anywhere in India. This need to be taken as a matter of serious concern than to belittle the issue as any other political drama. The other channel at least got the guns line from KH. That was sensational enough. We do not want that to happen. We believe in democracy. I'm afraid, Everyman has a breaking point. We have seen it during Jallikattu. The nation has seen it when the centre suddenly tried to make everyone in TN illiterates by introducing a random language called Hindi which we will have to learn from the very basics. Let's not push it too far. Just like Mr Kamal Hassan has urged his fellow actors and filmmakers to speak up (for they reach farther than a simpleton's voice) I, as a member of the media fraternity urge media and people to ask every major politician and citizens who have received any award for public service if they have something to say. Initiate serious dialogue. Prevention is better than cure. Nandri hain!
I prefer OPS but 127 MLAs are supporting Sasikala. They are all staying in a hotel taking instructions from Sasikala. Sasikala is an uneducated woman, who was only a household assistant for Amma. For some reason the interviewer had comments like "wow those are strong words" or he wants that strong explicit headline directly from Mr Kamal Hassan himself.
I am not blaming you for the ignorance/lack of indulgence to understand and extend this into one of the most sensible conversation anyone powerful could have gone on record about what's happening here in Tamil Nadu. The other channel that interviewed KH on the same topic was no different. The problem is that, this isn't a topic. People from all over India should see what happens when the rats comes through the holes in the system. Topically speaking, According to what has been reported, some one called Sasikala has threatened the Hon Chief Minister of a state in this democratic republic to write a letter of resignation, so that she can become the chief minister of the state. Allegations say that there is money, muscle and weapons behind this treacherous speculation (!)
Therefore, we think there is no need to change the chief minister unless there is a solid reason. A reelection is waste of our money. For all you know this can happen anywhere in India. This need to be taken as a matter of serious concern than to belittle the issue as any other political drama.
The other channel at least got the guns line from KH. That was sensational enough. We do not want that to happen. We believe in democracy. I'm afraid, Everyman has a breaking point. We have seen it during Jallikattu. The nation has seen it when the centre suddenly tried to make everyone in TN illiterates by introducing a random language called Hindi which we will have to learn from the very basics.
Let's not push it too far. Just like Mr Kamal Hassan has urged his fellow actors and filmmakers to speak up (for they reach farther than a simpleton's voice) I, as a member of the media fraternity urge media and people to ask every major politician and citizens who have received any award for public service if they have something to say. Initiate serious dialogue. Prevention is better than cure.

I prefer OPS but 127 MLAs are supporting Sasikala. They are all staying in a hotel taking instructions from Sasikala. Sasikala is an uneducated woman, who was only a household assistant for Amma. The general public knows Sasikala is useless but these 127 MLAs are throwing their support to Sasikala. What does this prove? The 127 MLAs were mere parasites who were living on the hard work of Amma & few others. Can OPS find suitable replacement for majority of these 127 MLAs? Its a tough job for OPS. DMK is equally a useless party. So what is our choice? If there is an election we should go for a new party to rule TN. I feel Anbumani Ramadoss could be a good choice. Meanwhile AIDMK must restructure itself before it can rule TN

Jayalalitha was great leader and Mr.Paneer selvam followed her and deserved to be CM. Sasikala is opportunist and selfish person also we hope she always thinking about her own benefit and not thinking about welfare of tamilnadu.
